Avernus Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 mid-august.... there is one local show that is great and it circulates around the chicago, baltimore and pittsburgh areas..... Adam Kaplan and a few others make picks on that show and have sleeper insight almost to the degree the huddle does....but these guys are definately good..... except during the season when they make weekly picks....they prove it's definately a crapshoot at that point Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I understand why they have the rest of the division ahead of the Eagles and am fine with that...the Eagles have to earn respect again if they want it back... but 23rd?.... NFL Live, Fox, CBS, etc. all really suck and state the obvious. You would think since FF has become so popular a serious show would have been created by now. He got almost 1400 last year in 9 games. Oh yeah early games are harder. Maybe they think he will get negative yardage games in weeks 1-8. Last 2 years(I believe) there was a friday night show with Zig Fracasi and Adam Kaplan that was very good. Too late for waivers picks, but good nonetheless. It's on ESPN radio, I pick it up from Chicago area on WMVP 1000AM. They have real accurate updates and fantasy picks of the week. It's on at 6:00-7:00 am CST. I know this can be a little early for some of you folks, I found it driving my kid around delivering those "heavy" Sunday newspapers during his route. I'd sit and listen parked on different corners and he would come back to the truck and get more papers. That made those Sunday morning paper routes NOT so bad then. If you are a true "FF junkie" you'll at least check it out. Any ESPN affiliate in your areas will probably air it also...In my area it was followed by "Rome is Burning" replays. The most most my competition does in my local league other than get the yahoo rankings and a magazine is watch one of those goofy preseason rankings shows.
