With all the condiment threads, I thought I would post this, with one of the most important condiments of all, Hot Sauce!

I put hot sauce on just about anything, even on ice cream (Chipolte chocolate hot sauce). There are even collectors hot sauce's put out by Blair and Dave and some others... Blair has a 16,000,000 scoville units powder in a little tiny collectors jar! :D

I also get some homemade Habernero and Sevina pepper sauces from a buddy in Florida...

Lets hear about your favorites!

I like most hot sauces, but my favorite is called Arizona Gunslinger. It's not really hot and has a smokey jalepeno flavor. It is excellent for most things people put Tabasco on.

I do like a lot of heat from time to time and keep a bottle of Dave's Ultimate Insanity sauce in the fridge. :D

Man how can you have a favorite? They each serve different purposes.

A few of my favorites:

Rooster Sauce (thai)

The entire Pain is Good Line, especially the Garlic Habanero. :D

I think the Rooster sauce is called Siriachi sauce, or am I mistaken?? The bottle of Siriachi I have has a rooster on it, so not sure...

I love the sweatnspice shop!! Great place for hot sauces, wing and BBQ sauce!!

I've got a bottle of scorned woman in the fridge that is almost too hot to use. I have to put a little on the plate and use it as a dip. No way I could pour it over what I'm eating. Favorite non-specialty is Trappey's or Frank's Red Hot

Tapatio or Crystals for everyday use. Dave's Insanity for crock pot cooking(only a couple drops!). Have been testing and making a mustard with a habanero/onion base for links and such, not perfected yet but is good. Eat hot sauce on my apples and oranges, and love the stuff on eggs to give them a kick.

Oh yeah edited to mention I love the Rooster Sauce, stir fry, soba etc etc. Have been known to go a little heavy on it at times though.

Also in Seattle we have Dixie's which puts out a product named "The MAN". Once you have met "The MAN" you'll never forget it. Served at SAFECO in Centerfield. Friggin' out of body experience.

If there is a sauce (actually produced for consumption) that's hotter than Dave's XXX Insanity, I hope to never taste it. :D

:D Don't think so, there is stuff made in smaller batches rated at more candlelights. Dave's will take the rust stains off your driveway :D but is actually really good used sparingly. I use two drops and only two drops in a full batch of chili.

Blairs is producing some limited edition sauces that are extremely hot and his 16,000,000 scoville powder, that I mentioned above. I haven't tried any of the limited, because I am not paying $200 to $400 bucks for hot sauce! I don't really know the purpose of the powder...

I can handle nearly every type of hot, but I find that the ones that are spicier but not hot are the best. Meaning taste over heat.

My faves: Pico Pica (in california, awesome stuff), tapatio (I saw above ) and cholula, which comes with a wooden top. Rooster sauce is nice and garlicy and might be the hottest of all that I mentioned.

Okay here is a good snack. Grab some ritz crackers, soft cream cheese and tiger sauce(sold everywhere, dark in color, pico pico or something like that) Knosh the crackers with some cream cheese and blast on the tiger sauce. Addictive for sure. Also good with your favorite cold malt beverage :D
