bones1979
For this year, what are the best strategies to have going into 10 man and 12 man serpentine drafts? Considering the few non-RBBC situations.
Big Country
Draft best available player. Going in with a set positional strategy by round does nothing but set you up for failure.

My question centered around the discussion of: 1. better to take tier 1 wr over tier 2 rb 2. better to take tier 1 te over tier 2 wr or tier 2 rb etc.etc.etc..... I think your question will be answered at the draft when you see how the other owners value players. You not being a rookie should help. I don't go into any draft with a preconceived way to draft. The reason, after the first rd. or when someone gets stupid and has a player fall that's too good to pass up, all that work and thinking just flew out the window. R/bs are few and far between, but being a vet you know that. All I can say is pay attention to what's going on around you.
i_am_the_swammi
This topic has been discusssed at great length in a couple other threads: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=157814 Essentailly, most beleive to go RB/WR at the end of a 10/12 team draft, unless you can get value with an 2nd RB who fell from the first round. The assumption is, that with WRs producing such great stats these days since d-backs can't grab and hold, a Top WR is better than a Tier-2 RB, and will provide you with an advantage over your opponent in more cases than not.
