Grits and Shins
How about Priest's MRI results As a proud owner of SS I'm hopeful he will be good to go!
PantherDave
It's not a pull or any kind of a tear, it's a strain, which with the hammy can actually be a way of it strecthing itself-pleasant, no, but very treatable. The "pull" can linger for awhile, but a strain-hydrate, heat and stretching is the key. Sorry haters-still the the to beat in the NFC-Period. bushwacked
Sorry haters-still the the to beat in the NFC-Period. Let's not forget about the dominating perfromance the Hawks put on Smith and the rest of the kitty cats in the NFC conference game. Not to mention that Seattle upgraded an already dangerous defense. PantherDave
Thx for the update PD. Nice to hear he's d2d. Knowing the Panthers training staff, if a starter jammed thier pinkie, they most likely would put them on the fuggin cart. This staff is damn near maniacal anyway. You mean a worn out, injured Panthers team that actually played a legit NFL schedule and was coming off three consecutive road games? If you think they played the real Panthers-well keep on keeping on.

If you think they played the real Panthers-well keep on keeping on. I realize that Steve Smith hurt himself by mistaking his cane for a walker, Deshaun Foster broke his ankle by stubbing his toe, and Nick Goings got his hymen torn by Lofa Tatupu, but real champions win depsite injuries. Seattle won a divisional playoff game the week before despite not having the league MVP for virtually the whole game. The fact the Panthers didn't get a home playoff game in a weak conference is a testament to their mediocrity. Steve Smith was taken out of the game and Carolina's one-dimensional attack didn't stand a chance. The Panthers were flat out manhandled and cleary inferior to the Seahawks. None of the offseason acquisitions has convinced me that Carolina, or any other NFC team, is at the same caliber as the defending NFC champions. Well, being a Saints fan......you have never had a reason to talk up your team in July, or any other month of the year for that matter Edited July 31, 2006 by PantherDave
Randall
Wasn't this the 2nd hamstring pull? The other(I heard) was in June. Rest and let Drew Carter get a lot of reps.
Randall
Keep dreaming Bucko-to bad we all can't reside in the NFCW. Hey, you are dissing the stinky teams in the NFC North. We want equal treatment. Watch it buster.

After reading this... It's not a pull or any kind of a tear, it's a strain, which with the hammy can actually be a way of it strecthing itself-pleasant, no, but very treatable. Her words were "obviously someone who's not remotely close to being a medical professional" or something to that effect.
