modus
It sounds like Tampa Bay is seriously considering moving him to the TE position. If that happens, he could a top 5 receiving TE.
Swiss Cheezhead
If they're trying to move him to TE, I'd tend to think he's disappointed as a WR. Temper those hopes, man.
rajncajn
I would think Alex Smith is the TE to have in Tampa regardless.

He wouldnt be on the field enough. Ben Watson can even get into games on 1st and 2nd down because his lack of blocking ability, and he played the position in college. Don't look to much into this. They're happy with Alex Smith as their TE. Stovall would have to be groomed at the position, learn to block, and bult up quite a bit in order to make the move.0. I thought Jacksnville would do that with Matt Jones. Too many TE's down there now.

Gruden likes to experiment with players that are versatile. This is nothing more than that. Stovall is not going to be a TE. He is going to be a WR and he has looked great in camp so far.
