budlitebrad
Anyone else tired of these training camp reports? Some of these players are being fluffed up more than Lexington Steele.

Who said you had to read them? If you want me to stop posting them then I will, but I have a feeling a few other Huddlers might beat the crap out of you for it. budlitebrad
I actually didn't mean your full team reports. It's more like the reports on just a single player who realistically has zero fantasy worth. I read another post about Toefield earlier and anyone who thinks that Toefield is a viable pickup even in dynasty is down right nuts. It's just funny when these articles come out every summer. The Vatican Hitsquad
Absolutely agree, but I go even farther and have the same feelings towards Draft analysis.

Some news is far better than NO news. How you interpret that news is up to you. If you feel there is no value or you are getting tired of reading it , then don't read the reports!!! ...Or you can look at it with a positive spin...given your Toefield example.....Say someone in your local reads that and jumps on him with a mid to late round pick, now you can pick someone who you think has better value and in your opinion that other guy wasted a pick...No harm No foul....What's the big deal anyways!!!! Toefield was on my taxi squad and I dropped him about a week ago.
godtomsatan
I will say that most people are posting that they are reports, so it is my choice not to read them. What I get a kick out of, and what I find most annoying, is how much credence people put into all the glowing reports about progress and rosey outlook coming into the season. budlitebrad
Not to get off topic, but I was also pretty impressed with my ability to reference Brian Bosworth and Lexington Steele in a single post.
Skrappy1
I actually just saw the Bos on CSI last night.
matt770
The more info, the better. I've seen dozens of player rankings on a lot of sites, many of which haven't changed much since June. The Huddle's included -- I'm surprised at how little the QB rankings have changed, for instance. They still have Culpepper at 29 even though there is positive news about his knee. The tidbits from training camp, especially regarding injured players, give good insight IMO. Even if it is "just training camp", the difference between a Javon Walker running around making dazzling catches, or still being hobbled and not moving around much at all, is huge. Ditto the Jets RB situation. I knew next to nothing about Cedric Houston until yesterday. I say keep 'em coming.
