Flip_Side
A representative of Tennessee Titans tailback Chris Brown wants the Dolphins to know his client is interested in a change of scenery. Agent Ryan Morgan said Wednesday that the Dolphins are on Brown's list of teams where he would like to be traded. Brown's representatives have asked Titans management to deal him because the team has expressed no immediate interest in tendering a contract extension. Brown, who rushed for a team-high 851 yards and five touchdowns last season, is in the last year of his current deal and could have his free-agent value negatively affected if he loses carries to backup Travis Henry and 2006 second-round draft choice LenDale White. "There are many factors in determining where Chris would like to go and being on a championship-caliber team is one of them," said Morgan, who doesn't have permission from Titans management to broker a trade for Brown. "The Dolphins certainly qualify. "[Dolphins coach Nick] Saban has them going in the right direction. They clearly want to run the ball. Chris sees the talent on offense they have in Daunte Culpepper, Chris Chambers and Ronnie Brown and he would be fine competing in a two-back system." One running back the Dolphins considered trading for during the offseason found a new home Wednesday, as New Orleans sent Michael Bennett to Kansas City for an undisclosed 2007 draft choice. Well if he wants to be on a championship caliber team, he's looking at the right place. Edited August 3, 2006 by Flip_Side
Randall
Well if he wants to be on a championship caliber team, he's looking at the right place. He probably just wants out of Tennessee. Can't blame him.

Czarina
What does Miami need with a perennially injured RB? They already have a Brown of their own anyway.
Flip_Side
Yeah, ur right there's not enough room for two Brown's on the team.

Zooty
I would think he would want to go to a team where he would be a #1. Unless he figures he'll just get hurt and would happy as a back-up.

First off this guy has no FA value, never has had any FA value, and never will have any FA value. I mean, who wants a guy that is always hurt? Not only that, but who wants a guy that is worried about his value when it comes to a loser backup and a rookie? Go out, play all 16, put up numbers higher than three digit yards and single digit TD's and head on into FA you numbnuts idiot.

Chris Brown is probably a realist at this point in his career and realizes he is incapable of staying healthy enough and long enough to put up numbers like you have suggested.... he wants to go to a team now that may overvalue him and cash in before he becomes a FA and likely has another injury plagued season which makes him almost a non-factor in the FA market... unless he decides to play WR.....then we're talking a whole 'nother ballgame... Wouldn't he kinda compare to Michael Bennett and he did Ok for himself in free agency this year: Contract DetailsThe Saints and Bennett agreed to a two-year contract on March 17, 2006. The deal is worth $3 million and includes a signing bonus of $1 million, ESPN.com reported.

Though Bennett has played in 16 games twice while Brown never has. Bennett getting even the tiny bit he got just goes to prove that fools are continually parted from their money is all. And did you notice how quickly he was traded?
