HowboutthemCowboys
Running back Marion Barber had a tough couple of practices Wednesday, drawing the ire from Parcells. Barber lost a fumble in a team drill, prompting running backs coach Anthony Lynn to replace him with Keylon Kincade. As a frustrated Barber went to the sideline, Parcells yelled, "That's where he wants to be anyway. Just collecting a paycheck, pretty boy." matt770
LOL. Guess he has to whip Barber into shape for Jones' inevitable breakdown. Wonder if Bill talks the same way to TO? Dallas might be his shortest stay yet....

i_am_the_swammi
bump Julius up a tad in my rankings, and moving Barber down a tad. Coaches just don't like those players that can't hold onto the rock. Couple more dropsies from Barber, and JJ at least won't have to worry about being replaced for any other reason other than injury. DMD
Having Parcells as the HC in Dallas, if nothing else, has provided vastly more entertaining film clips and press conferences than ever before. He said that to Barber and he likes him. Imagine if he didn't like you.
Caveman_Nick
I loved having Parcells in NE. Extremely entertaining press conferences. Calling Terry Glen 'she' was an all time classic. And they still play the sound clip of him saying in a high pitched voice 'oooo the balls are cold!', poking at the players excuses in the cold weather. Apparently Hasselbeck will lead the league in INT's and Philip Rivers will throw more TDs than Peyton Manning.
matt770
My favorite Parcells moment is still from the mid 80's, he was on the sidelines firing up the defense for one last stop, may have been the NFC title game when they were on the verge of going to the Super Bowl..."This is it! This is why you lift all them weights! This is why you do all that sh!t! Right here, right now...." Wish I could find that clip somewhere. Still gives me chills thinking about it... Still, never liked drafting players who were in the coach's doghouse.

piratesownninjas
LOL. Guess he has to whip Barber into shape for Jones' inevitable breakdown. Wonder if Bill talks the same way to TO? Dallas might be his shortest stay yet.... Bill blew up the other day at the first team offense... As he was yelling he was yelling directly at TO saying something along the lines of "Get someone out here who can do something" Parcells will say what he wants, and honestly, I think TO takes it. Mooch and Reid don't command the kind of respect that Parells does.

HowboutthemCowboys
Should we be keepign an eye on this kid? Any other information about him? I'm only assuming of course, but I think that if something happens to Barber or Jones,Tyson Thompson will get the ball.
piratesownninjas
Should we be keepign an eye on this kid? Any other information about him? Not at this point... I wouldnt rush to any conclusions on this. Barber is still, and will be the no.2 back. Parcells loves Barber, and is wanting to push him... He's just lighting a fire under Marions ass. I still think Tyson Thompson is the no.3 rb
HowboutthemCowboys
Should we be keepign an eye on this kid? Any other information about him? Kincade spent the 2004 season on the Cowboys practice squad before being allocated to the Cologne Centurions of NFLE in 2005. Kincade finished as the Centurions second leading rusher with 105 carries for 352 yards and five touchdowns. He added 29 catches for 238 yards and a touchdown. Kincade signed to the Cowboys practice squad Sept. 30 and remained there for the 2005 season. He originally signed as a rookie free agent with the N. Y. Giants on May 5, 2004 but was waived May

'cause that's when they've given up on you. Actually, no, I have never heard that at all. I have attended numerous Eagles camps, and participated in countless ones myself in high school and Division II, and I have never heard that line of thinking. No player wants to be called out and embarrassed in front of their teammates. But I can tell you this...at the probably 20-25 training sessions I have attended, I have never seen Andy Reid scream at McNabb or Westbrook, yelling at them they are pretty boys and only collecting paychecks. Are you honestly saying Reid has given up on them because he isn't screaming at them? Or do you wish to rethink your statement, and agree with some of the other posters here that he is trying to light a fire under an underperforming back-up?
