Stingers
-- Crowell Remains at WLB; Spikes Moves to SLB -- Mon Aug 7, 2006 Bills Daily reports Buffalo Bills OLB Angelo Crowell wil remain at the starting weakside linebacker spot (the non-tight end side) he held last year when OLB Takeo Spikes was out with his Achilles injury. Spikes moves to the strongside spot. He played on that side in Cincinnati and doesn't expect the move to pose a problem. In the Bills new attacking style cover two defense, it doesn't matter too much which side a linebacker plays since they have similar responsibilities. -- Bills Release Posey -- Mon Aug 7, 2006 Bills Daily reports the Buffalo Bills have released OLB Jeff Posey, who lost his starting job to OLB Angelo Crowell at the beginning of training camp. Posey is considered too big and not fast enough for the new Bills defense. It was thought that Posey would compete for a backup spot and as a situational pass rushing end. His inflated salary made keeping him not cost effective in the long run.

Stingers
Is Fletcher still a top tier fantasy LB? In a redraft he just sneeks into the top 10 In a dynasty I'd say he is in the top 15-20 He is the MLB and he stays in for all downs so yes he is still a top LB - his age is what drops him in a dynasty and I believe and I could be wrong he is in a contract year.... JMHO Good to know, thanks. The Huddle doesn't do a very good job of updating their IDP cheatsheet. They still have Odell Thurman at #9. I'd think he might drop a notch or two considering he'll be unavailable for a while....
