Colts DT

The Colts were gashed last night by the Rams rushing attack, now it's PS so let's take it with a few grains of salt, but check out the stat line at NFL.com-pretty ugly. The Rams ST still look suspect but the OT seemed much more balanced than in years past.

Only one starter played. Robert Mathis.

Dwight Freeney, Montae Reagor, Raheem Brock, and Corey Simon all did not play. Their starting safeties, Bob Sanders and Mike Doss also missed the game.

Not worried in the least.

No worries - half their starting defense didn't even make the trip to St. Louie.

The same thing happened last year. The Colts D was missing a ton of starters against Denver. Mike Anderson ripped off a 90+ yard TD. That didn't happen again to the Colts D. And Anderson didn't have a 90 yarder in the regular season. Just keep saying to yourself, "It's only preseason. It's only preseason."

Hook,

Is Marlin Jackson going to start this year at one of the corner spots? I thought he was going to take over as soon as he came into the league... Whats going on with him?

I was quite disappointed in him last night. He got burned by Curtis and put up the ol' arm bar drawing a flag. he also did not tackle well.

He is in a competition with Jason David, who appears to have seariously added some muscle in the off-season. It's too early to call. David missed the game with the Rams due to a minor injury.
