cre8tiff
1. Anything you say can and will be ridiculed by any number of people on this board. 2. There are some real corksoakers here who makes it thier job to piss off people. The more you react to it, the more they like it. 3. If you ask for advice, sift through the crap and you will find diamonds. 4. If you stridently proclaim your opinion is right without supporting it with fact, statistics or any other type of evidence, you WILL be called out. Don't get all pissed off if someone posts a contrary opinion. Use yer fricken noggin for something other than a hatrack and research a counterpoint. 5. Offering to beat the brains out of someone who is an anonymous member of the board is pointless. Releasing private information to them in order to challenge them to a fistfight will likely result in the next issue of CorkSoakers magazine showing up in your mailbox. 6. Name calling only serves to show you have no basis in fact for your argument. 7. So keep your cool, and you will see who offers good advice and who does not fairly quickly. 8. Grits offers good advice, do not become one of the yearly multitude that calls for his head. I made the mistake last year of getting pissed off at him, but have realized since he was merely pointing out my ignorant questions. 9. Finally, if you read less than you post you will increase the chances for you to look like a nimrod. Thank you. In a moment of exuberance, I celebrated my 200th post with a tribute to my NY Giants. It took about 6 minutes for me to realize that this was a big, big mistake. I took the flames like a man, and watched gratefully as the thread faded down the list and finally to page 2. IMO the low BS tolerance here makes it a better forum for all. Post something stupid and you will be ripped a new one. That's how it should be.

I too was flamed and ripped when I first came to this site. I didn't cry, or challenge people to fist fights, or start posts complaining, I took it like a man, learned the way things work around here, and moved on. And I'm still here today. FishFreak
Solid points. The Vets need to keep this same advice in mind when lighting up the message board also. These 9 commandments and counting are universal so everyone is guilty on occasion. Well.....some more than others.

Bronco Billy
I think MPulera's thread needs to be unlocked so that he can take the pounding he so richly deserves. Geez, this is a FF message board, not a freekin' church social. There's going to be some locker room humor & gags thrown in with the FF advice, and then you're going to get the perpetual arsewipes who make every response a personal diatribe - everyone knows who those people are & for the most part ignores them. In any case, if a person has a delicate constitution I would suggest one of two courses of action - either take your meds before you post & then lighten up a bunch; or do yourself a huge favor and find a FF message board that is politically correct and doesn't offend your frail ego. And challenging someone to meet up at your place for a fight - Maybe I should have included a 3rd option - wait until you graduate from grade school to post here.
