StingRay
Currently we just use folded up pieces of paper numbered 1-12 to select our draft order. Anyone out there do anything more imaginative?

Dice roll at kenware's website. I guess that's more for online drafts. You could all take off your pants and see who's weenie is the biggest, and make that guy draft last. We used to do that (we're an auction league now) but you could go from the worst record to the champion. If it's not a keeper league that may be a little unfair though. This is not very imaginative...sorry.

I've always liked drafting in the 12 spot...! Edited August 15, 2006 by The Wolf
Bronco Billy
Randomize every other round. If the draft has a lot of rounds, randomize every fourth round. It decreases the luck factor significantly. It'll also have your owners paying a lot more attention during the draft. T-Scorp
We use 12 playing cards. We pick in reverse order of last years finish (redraft league). Ace through Queen with Jack being 11 and Queen being 12.
theeohiostate
We used to use the longest pee pee rule, but with years of my team having top picks, we went to dice roll.
trrhyne
We write the team names on ping pong balls and put them in a container. We then draw 3 out each day to keep the suspense going.

nhoops
Currently we just use folded up pieces of paper numbered 1-12 to select our draft order. Anyone out there do anything more imaginative? This works best for 10 team leagues but I'm sure you could figure out a way to make it work (Powerball etc) We use the local lottery daily numbers game. Everyone gets a number and if there number matches the last digit of the winning number they get the 1st pick and so on.....keeps everyone in suspense... Anyone have a 12 sided dice? :ducks:
Big Country
Have everyone draw numbers, but, rather htan that be the order they draft, it is the order the owners select their draft spot. So, whomeverdraws #1 could select the first pick or the third pick or the 9th pick, whatever he prefers, and so on. #2 guy picks any of the remaining slots. Last guy gets stuck with whatever is left
