Arizona 4. San Francisco No, I disagree. I think that Miami wins the AFC East, I have see what Saban did at MSU and LSU and the guy, even though I do not like him, is an absolute genius. He gets the best from his players and I believe that he will have the team at the top at the end of the year. I see the Steelers winning the North and Baltimore in third. Philidelphia will not win the NFC East. Every team in that division got better, while IMHO, Philly stayed the same. I like the Skins or Giants in that divison, depending on the health of Portis and you cannot rule out Dallas. It all depends on what TO shows up. rajncajn
Atlanta will be rounding out the NFC South, not New Orleans.
cliaz
The below is the Sporting News 'Expert' predictions for the final standings this coming season. Not sure if I agree with these guys. Plus they didn't give W-L so not sure who they are predicting for the PO's. AFC East 1. New England 2. Miami 3. Buffalo 4. N.Y. Jets I disagree with these: 1. Miami - good D, good solid running game and hopefully a QB that can recover and make chris chambers a fantasy stud. 2. New England 3. Buffalo 4. N.Y. Jets AFC North 1. Baltimore 2. Pittsburgh 3. Cincinnati 4. Cleveland Disagree here as well: 1. Cincinnati - By week 6 they will be back on track. The steeler would have never made it to the Super Bowl if Carson wasn't hurt. They own this division now. 2. Steelers 3. Ravens 4. Browns AFC South 1. Indianapolis 2. Jacksonville 3. Tennessee 4. Houston I agree with this one. AFC West 1. San Diego 2. Denver 3. Kansas City 4. Oakland Do not agree with this one either: 1. Denver - will take the division this year all of the remain three times are in a state of flux with new coaches, players, QB, etc. 2. K.C. 3. San Diego 4. Oakland =========================== NFC East 1. Philadelphia 2. Washington 3. Dallas 4. N.Y. Giants Terrible: 1. Washington - the greatest NFL team ever. Hail to the redskins, Hail victory!!!!!!! 2. Philly - sucks balls but better they are not dallas 3. Giants - sucks balls but they are not dallas 4. Dallas - because I hate them and that's where they belong, at the bottom. Screw you dallas! NFC North 1. Chicago 2. Minnesota 3. Detroit 4. Green Bay I agree with this division though the Lions may give the vikings a run. NFC South 1. Carolina 2. Tampa Bay 3. Atlanta 4. New Orleans I agree with this division. NFC West 1. Seattle 2. St. Louis 3. Arizona 4. San Francisco I do not agree: 1. St. Louis 2. Seattle - simply because I hate the seahawk because of seahawk37 and his mouth but more over because I think last year was their peek. With Alexander's new contract, the O line not returning 100% and the madden curse, I don't see them pulling it out this year. This isn't to say they wont make the playoffs just that they wont win the division. 3. Cards 4. 49ers
Randall
I lost respect for SM when Fox took them over. Is the mag better than the web? I would say AFC East 1.Miami 2.New England 3. Buffalo 4. N.Y. Jets AFC North 1.Cincinnati 2. Pittsburgh 3. Baltimore 4. Cleveland AFC South 1. Indianapolis 2. Jacksonville 3. Houston 4. Tennessee AFC West 1. San Diego 2. Denver 3. Kansas City 4. Oakland =========================== NFC East 1. Washington 2.Philadelphia 3. Dallas 4. N.Y. Giants NFC North 1. Chicago 2. Minnesota 3. Green Bay 4.Detroit NFC South 1. Carolina 2. Atlanta 3. skylive5
The question; Do you agree with these predictions from the SN? The answer; Some Now don't go out on a limb there guy. Think the most glaring out of whack pick they have is Baltimore winning their division. Think that Cinn is the class of that division with Pitt an okay 2nd. The next worst pick they have is San Diego winning theirs. Don't agree with that. Think Denver wins it. The NCF East is the hardest to predict IMHO. Think Philly is out of it and it is a three dog race. They will beat up on each other just like last year.

Menudo
The Ravens winning the North, where did I hear that before ? Oh yeah, that is all I heard and read last year. Not only were they going to win the division, but, they were going to the Super Bowl. I love how no one's picking the Steelers. Keep giving them a reason to feel like the underdog, and they will continue to prove everyone wrong. Here's how I see it right now: AFC East 1. New England 2. Miami 3. Buffalo 4. N.Y. Jets AFC North 1. Pittsburgh 2. Cincinnati 3. Baltimore 4. Cleveland AFC South 1. Indianapolis 2. Jacksonville 3. Houston 4. Tennessee AFC West 1. Kansas City 2. Denver 3. San Diego 4. Bronco Billy
My views, for what they are worth: AFC East 1. New England Miami - RW distraction gone, QB upgraded a bunch, coaching is superb 2. Miami New England - D is aging badly, WRs are worse than usual, the window is closing 3. Buffalo 4. N.Y. Jets AFC North 1. Baltimore Pittsburgh - hit their stride in 2nd half last season, no reason to think it will stop 2. Pittsburgh Cincinnati - lots of offseason crap, but still tons of young talent on both sides of ball 3. Cincinnati Baltimore - McNair is injury waiting to happen, D going to 46 with their players is laughable 4. Cleveland AFC South 1. Indianapolis Jacksonville - lots of depth at all O skill positions, D line is best in business 2. Jacksonville Indianapolis - like NE, window is closing. Lack of running game on O will reall hurt 3. Tennessee Houston - won't be great, but changes in coaching, O, & D will make some impact 4. Houston Tennessee - possibly the worst team in NFL this year. AFC West 1. San Diego Denver - O is great, D is solid 2. Denver Kansas City - enough talent to challenge Denver, Herm will improve D 3. Kansas City San Diego - one more year 'til the top, Rivers still way back in learning curve, secondary is awful which negates superb front 7 on D 4. Oakland =========================== NFC East 1. Philadelphia N.Y. Giants - top notch O is joined by improved & healthy D. Surprise team of the year 2. Washington Dallas - Bledsoe is older than Moses, secondary very suspect with not much pressure from D line. Bad TO will rear his ugly head by midseason while Parcels implodes. 3. Dallas Washington - QB brings them down from division title to 3rd place. 4. N.Y. Giants Philadelphia - No WRS, Westbrook tweaked already. Team is ready to fall apart. NFC North 1. Chicago 2. Minnesota Detroit - Martz makes huge difference in O, D is soild but unspectacular 3. Detroit Green Bay - may surprise. Only 1 year removed from division champ, have to be healthier than last year, solid D improved a lot 4. Green Bay Minnesota - hate this team. Brad Johnson & nothing else at QB? RBs & WRs suspect with KRob drinking & evading, D line is supect, as is secondary, stud rookie LB hurt for season. NFC South 1. Carolina 2. Tampa Bay 3. Atlanta 4. New Orleans NFC West 1. Seattle 2. St. Louis 3. Arizona 4. San Francisco Edited August 17, 2006 by Bronco Billy
Menudo
And I guess we can assume you are predicting another SB championship for your home team? I just want to have it on the record. Yes, I am. Please, put it on record beside my predicting them to win last year, and your predicting them to not only lose, but, lose against the spread to the Bengals, the Colts, the Broncos, & the Seahawks. Nice work Sam Rothstein.

i_am_the_swammi
Yet another publication with the Eagles at the top of the NFC East. Maybe they are disillussioned? Maybe the Huddlers are all better prognosticators? Or maybe they have done their research, and realize: 1. Washington won't win the division with the worst QB of the bunch, and an already-injured RB 2. Dallas won't win the division with a mediocre OL, RBBC, statue QB, T.O cancer. 3. New york won't win the division, as they have the toughest schedule of the bunch. 4. Philly, getting to play a 4th place schedule, having perhaps the best DL and OL of the bunch, and the hands-down best QB in the division, will take it, with a record of 10-6.
