Does this make you guys re-think the spot you were going to draft him at? I think he might go off this year as well, Eli looks good, I think he has a career year. Eli looks great thus far. KC looks like crap. Its preseason. Personally I think Burress plays more like he did the 1st half of last season. So many options on that team... He will be good this year IMHO but they have to many weapons to focus on one guy. I think Carter may be a plesant surprise this year. jjpro11 Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 he can definitely put up big numbers.. 78 catches for 1325 yds and 7 tds was no fluke.. hes got the talent.. being in a high powered offense like the giants, he could put those up again. if anyone thinks he cant because shockey is there then think again.. because he put up those numbers opposite hines ward who himself caught 112 passes. the giants have the potential to have a top 5 offense, and it will only get there with burress getting 1200+ yards.
