Watching it on NFL.com GameCenter.

The whole Ravens offense looks good out there. McNair is playing well, basically just throwing to Mason on every pass. I think the McNair, Mason combo will be hugh this year. J.Lewis isn't playing bad, I think he'll come back from that horrible season last year. McNabb also looks good, he's having a heck of a pre-season so far.

I have targeted Mason since he went to the Ravens...

I hate seeing him play like this against the Eagles because I know one of the members of my local are going to move him up some off this games performance...

A little trivia, cuz I was just reading about it ...

Q: In Mason's final two years with Tennessee, McNair threw 32 TD passes. How many did Mason catch?

A: Nine (28 percent)

Q: In Heap's last 25 games, the Ravens have thrown 22 TD passes. How many has Heap caught?

A: 11 (50 percent)

Q: How many passes did the Titans (mostly McNair) complete to TEs last season?

A: 149 (tops in the league)

Q: Of the 40 receivers who have more than 100 catches over the past two years, where does Masons' 12.3 ypc place him on the list?

A: 38th

Q: Of those same 40 receivers, which two have not had a single 50-yard reception in the past two years?

A: Keyshawn Johnson and Derrick Mason.

You can get excited about Mason. I'll get excited about Todd Heap. :D

And when they take that away McNair to Heap. McNair to Clayton.

McNair is a great sleeper pick. He could have 2-3 good years left.

Heap plays injured alot and his performance suffers because of this...

I'll take Mason at the value I can get him rather than Heap....

when you draft Mason, you're drafting Mason by his value last year....same goes for Heap...

and Titans ran alot of 2 TE sets...

I like both in this offense...but mason holds better value by where you can draft him..

This is the second game in a row that Musa Smith has made some big plays, and they haven't all come against second and third string defenses.

This guy is starting to look like a much bigger threat to steal carries from Jamal Lewis than Mike Anderson.

I agree...

Jamal has slowly moved up my rankings a little, but Musa is hurting his value...

if Jamal were to go down....Musa could be a very capable fantasy back..

I've done quite a few mock drafts and although Heap goes fairly quickly(rd 3-4), I've been able to snag Mason as late as rd. 7 and 8. I only hope Mason slips that far in my real drafts. I have Heap rated as my #2 TE so chances are if I miss out on Gates, I'm not going to jump on Heap any earlier than rd. 4. I will snag him if he's still available in rd. 4, depending on countless draft situations. I like what I've seen so far from the Balt. offense. As a Steeler fan I hate it.

I almost hate the fact that Heap and Shockey are the next best available options at TE after Gates....

they both have a serious injury history....but play hurt plenty...

watching that game was like watching a regular season game. that was the most intense p-season game i've seen yet. all the players and both coaches seemed to be intent on winning that game.

actually...they were intent on winning the 1st half as they played their starters for the whole 1st half...

and you can see how pissed Billick was when that FG didn't get off...

this is a pre-season rivalry as the Eagles play them pretty much every year in the pre-season...

....every year except the time that the Ravens traveled to the Vet and wouldn't play because there were holes in the field and it was a mess :D I was actually at the Vet that night.

I wouldn't really call it a rivalry as it's hard to have a rivalry in pre-season. For the Ravens, they play the Giants, Eagles and Skins every year in pre-season.

it's as close to a rivalry as they get in the pre-season...
