DMD
Always interesting to look back at this time last year for how revealing preseason was... The good guys looking better all the time... Carson Palmer threw 4 of 11 for 37 yards and 1 INT, later 12 of 24 for 152 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT M. Anderson had 6 for 12 yards Brian Westbrook ran 4 times for 5 yards and later 4 runs for 2 yards Rudi Johnson ran 10 for 20 Cadillac Williams 5 runs for 13 yards The Bills had won two games with a combined 40-13 score. Meat Face
Exactly. Preseason is essentially meaningless except for one thing - INJURIES.
goldengrhm1
I know the preseason gets a bad rap and all but there is some importance to it. I was at the Bears-Chargers game tonight and those guys just couldn't tackle. I legitimately think that in training camp the guys don't really work on tackling and that is a part of the reason why the preseason is there. If I saw the number 1 defense in the league blowing that many tackles on week one or two I would know somehting is wrong. So while the preseason's setbacks probably outweigh there advantages. I think it is still necessary. By the Brian Griese is looking good...
