keggerz
Broncos | Team reportedly interested in R. Moats Mon, 21 Aug 2006 21:46:36 -0700 Bob Brookover, of The Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Denver Broncos are interested in Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Moats. It was previously reported that the Eagles had interest in Broncos WR Ashley Lelie and the Eagles could part with Moats if they are concerned WR Todd Pinkston (Achilles') will be unable to recover from his foot problems. The Irish Doggy
I have a difficult time believing Denver needs yet another runningback, but anything can happen in Eternia.

This would be a tremendous hugh mistake by the birds..Moats is an explosive back that im very impressed with..To give him up for Lelie would be a trade that would bite them in the ass for many years to come. When are we ever going to see this explosiveness. I heard that last year and the guy never saw the field?
Scourge
The rumor around Philly is DT Darwin Walker, RB Ryan Moats and a 5th for RB Tatum Bell and WR Ashlie Lelie. I would be shocked if it happened. Check the message boards on the Eagles website to see developments. usualy good info on there. -Scourge

keggerz
in donkeyville is lelie even worth a piece of donkey dung? granted he may hold some value to teams like Philly and Chi etc...but he isnt gonna play for the donkeys this yr, is he? so that deal would be Walker/Moats & 5th for Tatum Bell and the crap from the bottom of moats and walkers cleats for lelie? :hmm: Edited August 22, 2006 by keggerz

TheTurk
Very Interesting. I'll wait for the expert on "everything Bronco". The one and only BroncoBilly.
TDFFFreak
Moats for Lelie? No. That package deal? I'd have to think about, but I can see the positive for both teams.
dukdown
Trade makes no sense to me from a Eagles perspective. They get 2 soft players in Bell and Lelie for a tough home run hitter like Moats. Lelie needs to play on the West Coast, with a team like San Diego, where his ever precious hammy's won't cramp up on him getting off the bus. The Eagles have invested alot of time and energy in developing Moats, and the guy is just sick in the open field, plus will stick his head in the pile. The Eagles will be just fine at WR with Reggie Brown, Greg Lewis, and Jabar Gaffney, with some real nice young players coming right behind them in Hank Baskett, Jason Avant plus Darnerian McCants has looked good. Eagles have almost always developed their young players from within, and it just seems like it would go against their philosophy to trade away a potential star in Moats at this point in his career. Avernus
Yea and when Westbrook gets hurt youll see Buckhalter on the field and Moats on the pine... if he dresses. ?? only reason Moats is behind him is the fact that he has a fumbling problem.... these 2 would share the backup duties if Moats could get a better handle on the ball...
