Beaumont
See this Thread from Saints Report Hilton is 5th string and is probably not draftable ... ETA: Even his dad is assuming he is GONE ...
keggerz
his dads post: #1... he is 5th on the depth chart#2 ..this pass offense calls for the TE to block more than get down the field #3... it is not a good sign when you are a vet player and get into the game in the middle of the 4th quarter #4..the offense (up to this point) does not fit well with Zach's skill set #5.. this is pretty much the trend since OTA's... Zach is not in their plans... #6... I'm gonna miss New Orleans Edited August 22, 2006 by keggerz

Big Dogs
Why was everyone high on this guy to begin with???
Savage Beatings
Why was everyone high on this guy to begin with??? Currently ranked #18 by the Huddle with the following caveat... This should probably be named "New Orleans Tight End" because the position is not entirely settled.
General Itals
He had a hugh 2nd half last year and is on a team with no other real receiving threat at TE. Does anyone get the feeling that Sean Payton is in way over his head? The Saints looked absolutely horrible against the Cowboys on Monday and he's not playing his best TE and better LB's. Gotta wonder what's going on there.
Beaumont
In retrospect, Conwell was the No. 1 TE last year, and Hilton only got on the field after Conwell was injured ... If you drafted Hilton, grab Conwell late and you may still have a starter ...

He's the 18th ranked TE, and while he may have been the only TE at NOR, I still think there was better upside to other TE's....... Either way, don't care b/c I don't have him, and one guy in my first league took him in the 10th round and wasted that spot

brainded
BigDogs, Nice Sig. NO REMORSE!!! Just "Recoil". Oh yeah, with how deep the TE class is this year, please explain why you would waste a draft pick on a rook. Yes that includes VDavis. Flip_Side
Upside = Look at how well Drew Brees's TE did last year. Hilton and any other TE playing for NO are far from being an Antonio Gates though, buddy. Edited August 22, 2006 by Flip_Side
