landder
So if you had to pick the most improved who would it be? Certainly NOT the Packers Line..... Looking for a possible oppertunity for a better running game, big holes etc.....

The Wolf
Article on O Lines for 2006: http://www.thehuddle.com/x6/articles/hb-tg-oline.php Looks like SF is may be the pick here... San Francisco 49ers The 49ers have positioned themselves to field one of the league’s most improved lines thanks to the signing of 10-time Pro Bowl guard Larry Allen (cut by Dallas) and the anticipated returns of LT Jonas Jennings and two-time Pro Bowl C Jeremy Newberry. It would be hard for the team to not improve on a disastrous 2005 season in which they ranked at or near the bottom of the league in most offensive categories. Allen will help to keep second-year QB Alex Smith on his feet, and Jennings – the team’s big free agent acquisition in 2005 – joins Allen on the left side after missing 13 of 16 games last year with a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, Newberry had knee surgery in the winter and is expected to be 100 percent when the regular season arrives. Depth remains a concern, but this line can be adequate or better if it can stay healthy. Edited August 24, 2006 by The Wolf

Looking for a possible oppertunity for a better running game, big holes etc..... The Packers line is like Swiss cheese. Ok, not very funny. I think the Jets offensive line might be the most improved over the injury-riddled mockery they put out there most of last season. But, with that said, they could improve tremendously and still be one of the worst O-lines in the league. I'm sure they'll screw up some protection schemes and get Pennington's head torn off, but you have to figure Ferguson and Mangold will knock some people down on running plays. Now - whether Kevan Barlow and Cedric Houston can get through those holes...that's another question.

Big Score 1
Article on O Lines for 2006: http://www.thehuddle.com/x6/articles/hb-tg-oline.php The article is out of date and has not been revised. Virtually useless. And I agree with Doc about Vikings O'line being very improved.

Texans
The Texans actually. Don't laugh - they had probably the worst O line since day 1 of the franchise. They have no place to go but up. With the addition of Flanagan and the draft picks from their 3rd round and putting people back in their natural places and the new coaching staff, I think you will see a big improvement this year. Besides they couldn't get any worse then can only get better.
Vote Quimby2
Minnie and the Jets are most improved from last year You really think the rookies(Ferguson & Mangold) will have that much of an impact in their first year or did they get some FAs too? Big Score 1
Great point BS. It is almost 11 weeks old and as Sam pointed out, Newberry is on the IR. Not only the 49er's & Newberry, but another glaring unrevised write up, is the Browns O'line. The acquistion of Center Le Charles Bentley is still being touted as a positive in turning around the fortunes of the Browns O'line. How long has it been since Bentley was IR'ed? Avernus
Vikings getting Birk back, signing Hutch and Richardson in the backfield puts them in the top 5 OL's.... I have Chicago, Denver, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Minnesota in the top 5 with Indianapolis and New England as honorable mentions...
