MrTed46
I missed the minny v ravens preseason game. Did C Taylor play at all? If so how did he look?
Savage Beatings
He did play. I would say he did not look very good. Not sure if that is a knock against him or if it's more against the offensive line which has just not lived up to expectations so far. He can't seem to break past the 2-3 yard mark rushing. However, and this could be the most important factor for him this season, he is catching every ball thrown his way and IMHO will end up being one of the top 3 receiving RB's in the league this year. MrTed46
Thanks for your insight. I can keep him in my auction league for his fair value (not really a bargain) but its PPR even for RB. I might just keep him because you never know what to expect from auctions. I have always liked his catching abilities. Edit: Is Moore (or anyone else) a real threat to his starting role? Moore has talent carrying the football, but he is constantly injured and can't block for crap. Fason can run too, but again he doesn't block very well, and he just hurt his shoulder last night (have no idea how serious it is). Taylor pretty much has a lock on the starting job for the entire season barring an injury. I would be more worried about Tony Richardson stealing carries from Taylor than anybody else. chademer2007
I asked this question before and everyone said no but I'll ask it again, should I trade Taylor away for Gore. Some people might be thinking, why would you do that. My reasons: 1. Taylor may have some competition for the job or he'll at least lose some carries. 2. Will Taylor be the goalline back? 3. Gore is now the horse in SF, I know the horse in SF or anything in SF for that matter doesn't sound good but Gore played solid last season. 4. Unless I'm missing something Gore would take Goaline duties.

Avernus
well, the rushing plays have been very vanilla.....mostly up the gut and no pulling of linemen... so I'm not exactly worried, it seems like Childress does not want to tip his hand at all.. Or, is that because the MIN OL isn't to that level yet?
Avernus
Or, is that because the MIN OL isn't to that level yet? their OL was already top notch with Birk healthy....and the addition of Hutch and Richardson, they'll be fine... but I've said this about 30 times this offseason.. it would be funny if the OL did a complete flop

Also took him in the 4th in another league. I think he will be just fine.
