via sportsline.....and the game is on CBS, so...

News: Cadillac Williams will make his preseason debut Saturday. "We would like to see him get a few carries, but I'm counting on him being ready based on what I've seen on the practice field and the kind of condition I do believe he's in," coach Jon Gruden said. "Our No. 1 job right now is to make sure we keep the right 53 guys. For us to do that, they're going to have to play in this game. So we will substitute early and often in this game."

Analysis: Williams, who is expected to see more receptions out of the backfield in 2006, is a top-12 back, making him a sure-fire No. 1 Fantasy RB worth taking as a mid-to-late first-round pick. If he can add 40 receptions to his bottom line, he could touch the ball close to 325 times over 16 games, and that might mean something like 1,600 total yards. It could be a fun year for Williams (and his Fantasy owners).

We hae that game on CBS here in Tallahassee and I can say he looks pretty decent tonight. Trying to do a few spins too many to break away, but his hands looked good in the few short pasees he caught and he and Simms seem to be in sync. I wonder how often Alstott os going to vulture TD's from him this year?

Also, on a related TB note - Clayton and Simms seem to have a nice rapport. I wonder how that will develop as the season progresses?
