Atlas Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I selected 12th tonight in a convential 14 round /12 team draft (QB-2RB-2WR-TE-K-DEF) There were a few "unconvential" approaches.. Kellen Winslow was selected in the first round (1.10) Reggie Bush in the second round, ahead of Tom Brady and C. Palmer (2.10) Eli Manning went in the third round, ..ahead of Tom Brady & C. Palmer (3.4) The person selecting in the 5th positon had twoTE's by the 8th round (T. Gonzalez and C. Anderson) Curtis Martin was selected in the 12th round. Ruffian Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 The newbs have to learn somewhere, I know, but I always wonder why they don't read up on the game before drafting. The Huddle alone could have saved many of the newbs from drafting Archie Manning rather than Peyton or Eli. It would seem logical (and let us not forget that logic is by no means a lock for many of us) that if I didn't know how to play, Id get some info before starting. But I digress...
