Whiskey Pimp
Forget about handcuffing the RB's, which "backup" RB will you target without having the starter? Here are the perceived "handcuffs" (some are the complete group, which would you take without wanting the other(s)?): DeAngelo Williams TJones/Ced Benson MBell/TBell McAllister MBarber Maroney Addai White/Henry Lundy/Morency/Davis Gado Perry Duckett Moore Hicks Norwood MAnderson
Big Score 1
Maroney
MikesMarauders
I would say Bush but you have McAllister as the backup but he is the starter, but besides that I would have to go with Michael Turner
pokerboss
ditto on micheal turner
LooGie
I would say Williams...it's almost a given that Foster will go down, and Williams should be the main cheese at that point. I do hope that foster proves me wrong though
knoway2xcape
After having C. Dillion all of last season I have say Maroney!
TDFFFreak
Another vote for Williams.
T_bone65
I have Williams, White and Cedric Houston so I will have to go with those
Ramhock
Last year, I had some fun targeting LJ w/o Priest, in all three leagues. There is no standout (questionable health of starter), this year. LJ had to be gotten in the 5th, whereas, this year's crop can be drafted much later. Due to that strategy working, I will take a backup flyer, each year. I have also targeted MTurner. In one draft I took Turner, Addai, MMorris & JJArrington (w/ MBell & LJ).
Selly
I've taken last round flyers on Norwood, Lundy and Musa Smith in various drafts this year.
Favreforlife
Maroney
Wolv
I have Mike Bell and Lundy in several leagues as my #3/4. Not too interested in the other messes, except for Norwood. Love his potential, esp. with Duckett gone and the nice preseason he's had.
The Irish Doggy
Can't realy include Lundy now that he is unofficially the starter. In no particular order: Deangelo Williams - + Foster health concerns + 1st round pick + great college career Joseph Addai - + ideal size + Indy offense - Rhodes Lendale White - + Brown health concerns + great college career - Tennessee offense with Young may blow Norwood - + Dunn is aging - Dunn hasn't been injured much lately + looks good in preseason + nice size Mike Anderson + done it before + Lewis may be all washed up - Lewis may not be all washed up Maroney (but not as high as he is going these days in redraft leagues - certainly not before Dillon) ... are all worthy IMO even if you don't have the "starter". Hat Trick
I'll just throw out that I am high on Foster this year. Carry on.
Primetime9287
I think Brandon Jacobs could have a double digit TD year and Barber could start to get dinged up here and there. I think he should be on the list for value because hes going after the 13th round or so...
PaulOttCarruth
I've taken Thomas Jones and all of the rookies as standalones w/o the handcuff.

balliet12
I drafted Lundy, Maroney, Williams, and Norwood. I won the SB in my league last year, so I had the last pick and the RB pool was very thin for me. DD was my supposed stud last year, but I wasn't about to keep him this year. I'm not really expecting much from Norwood as Dunn usually stays in good health; however, if 2 of the other 3 pan out, I'll be ecstatic. It's looking pretty good for Lundy already. kerwin8
Williams, Maroney, and I would said Lundy if he wasn't the 'starter'
Front Row
1 name I didn't see mentioned is Mike Alstott , not exactly a backup, but definetely a TD vulture.
Balzac
I initially took Calhoun to handcuff KJ, but I'm thinking that wasn't necessary - I just dropped him and picked up Turner.
NAUgrad
Maroney +1 Maroney has looked great all preseason and has played against #1 defenses as well. If Dillon goes down, this guy will be huge.
peepinmofo
Im not sure when he will play, but I like Perry a lot if he stays healthy. My opinion of him is rapidly changing though.
blips
Why is everyone so high on Turner? I know he looks good in preseason but you think that LT will go down this year?
