keggerz
I just drafted Clinton Portis #4 overall and the league voted to overturn my pick saying portis was injured and he shouldnt be selected until later in the 1st round. is that fair? if so who should i take at #4 that wont get my pick VETOED?* *this is a fictional depiction of league idiocy Edited August 29, 2006 by keggerz

Grits and Shins
You should draft Jeff George, he just signed with the Raiders and Brooks sucks.
jaxfactor
Say what? Was the whole thing fictional or just the second part? If this is for real, I'm finding it hard to believe. Never ever heard of a league voting to disallow a draft pick. This is what I think of them

Bronco Billy
Tell the league owners they can vote for who you should take with pick #4, then tell them to keep voting on picking every round for you until you have a full roster, and then tell them to vote as to how they intend to split up paying your fees. The tell them to kiss your azz.

thecerwin
One of the better #2 posts that I've ever seen. Or was it #1? :bigjohn: This one is his second post. His first post was: From 89-04 Dallas specialized in grabbing the cheapest undrafted kicker they could find and having Steve Hoffman coach them up to an acceptable NFL kicker level. I think that's the reason why Dallas hasn't had a bad-ace kicker lately. Picking up FA Vandy is a complete change from that plan. If you have concerns about his groin injury, fine, but don't drop him based upon the stats from the last 15 years as Dallas hasn't had a stud kicker at any point during that time.
