BigMikeinNY
To be honest, I think Janikowski is the sleeper this year in Kickers. He has looked great in preseason. Also, I dont think brooks, moss, and lj#2 get it done, which leaves more opp. to Sab. Janikowski. Anyone else have a sleeper kicker out there>>

msaint
i like josh brown in seattle. plays on an excellent offense, will get a ton of XPs and lots of those "mercy" field goals late in games as the hawks try not to embarrass the niners, cards, etc.... he's not exactly a no-name sleeper, but he's going much later than guys like rackers (who i think will drop off thanks to edge/having a running game in the red zone) and vinatieri (ankle?), yet will put up comparable numbers, imo. in other words, don't go insane and grab rackers in the 8th...take a guy like brown (or jeff wilkins) in the 14th. Bone Stober
I took Stephen Gostkowski (sp) with my last pick in the 15h round of a 12 Team draft. Vinateri was/is outstanding and even depite the bad weather late in the season I think having the kicker from a perenial powerhouse team like the Pats is a good thing. He is unproven but the Pats are not, might be a sleeper to think about. Bone Stober
Wolv
I put little stock in kickers - sleeper or not. Last year the #1 kicker in the league was on every waiver wire in week 1. I'll wait until the last round to draft mine...
policyvote
Gotta' rep my Spartan boys . . . Dave Rayner in GB has a legitimate 60+ yard leg, played in outdoor MI weather in college, and goes to a team with a talented but flawed offense and just plain flawed defense. Deep sleeper, but he could get a lot of opportunities. Peace policy
Grits and Shins
If you've spent 10 minutes thinking about which kicker to draft you've spent 9 minutes and 50 seconds too long thinking about it ... they are to unpredictable.
Bronco Billy
Longwell kicked very well in weather in GB for a few years. Now he's in a dome in MIN. I'd watch him as a nice last round pick.
loyalboyd
Depending on your league scoring. A kicker might make or break you. At least so in one of my leagues because getting points are hard to come by even with the best but kickers could easy get you the 2 or 3 points to win the game. Balzac
Speaking of kickers, Vinatieri went undrafted in my money league (roster below) b/c the extent of his injury was unknown when we drafted . . . understandably, nobody's paid any attention to their kickers since then. Is it worth holding 2 kickers just to pick up a guy who might be an impact player (keeping in mind that he is indeed a kicker)? Thinking of dropping Calhoun for him. Fatman
I took Kasay in the 16th round of my draft and haven't worried about it since...too hard to predict.

The one league where I didn't draft him, it was because someone else drafted him before me.

LooGie
I've grabbed Janikowski in every league in the very last round in all of them. He's definitely my sleeper.
Furd
I wouldn't call any kicker a sleeper. Typically, the difference between the no. 1 and no. 12 kicker in the league is about two points per game. (Last year, it was 2.25 points per game in a typical league). If you think that 2.25 points a game is going to make or break you, (and you can predict which PKs are going to have good years) draft a PK early. Me, I'll take a crack or two at a real sleeper, or perhaps a solid backup, while others are drafting their kickers and defenses. DocNiner52
Koenen maybe? I'd have to say this guy has a chance at being a top 10 kicker this year. If he wins the Atlanta kicking job I hope they use someone else for punts and kickoffs. Would be a shame to overuse his powerful leg. I don't even see him listed on the placekicking rosters at MFL. Anyone have any info on that situation?
Hugh 0ne
I draft kickers based on two criteria: they play indoors and they play for teams that score a lot of points.
