rajncajn
Being reported on the radio... So far it's Zach Hilton, Jamal Branch, Colby Bockwoldt, Jay Foreman, Josh Lay & Adrian McPherson.
neilfish2
I'm a little surprised about the LB....
Donutrun Jellies
Well, at one point, I thought Booo Williams would be HUGH as the NO TE ... This year, I really thought ZHilton would be the steal of the waiver wire as he burst out ... Hmmm ... I suck at judging Saints' TEs .. rajncajn
From Zach's Dad on the Saints board...real class guy. I hope Hilton gets pick up by somebody & gets a real shot. rajncajn
They've also reported that these cuts are not yet official so there probably won't be any linkable reports till then. They said that Branch (who's played very well in preseason) may still make the team.

rajncajn
Unfortunately Hilton has a hard time blocking at 6'-8 and the offense Payton will run stresses blocking from his TE's
spain
Is he a candidate for the practice squad?
SeductiveNun
Guess it's about time to pick up a new backup TE from the waiver wire.
rajncajn
Is he a candidate for the practice squad? I don't think any of them but Branch are.
Big John
Is he a candidate for the practice squad? No, as he has spent too much time on the regular roster.

Perchoutofwater
What kind of injury settlement are they going to have to pay McPherson?
broncosn05
Wow Sean Payton sucks. There goes Bockwoldt from my deep stud LB position.
rajncajn
Is it official? I was at the Saints website and didn't see anything... I'm looking for a link. None of it is official yet. It was reported by our local sports radio network that it's unofficial. However their sources are from within the organization & usually dead on
General Itals
With Foreman and Bockwoldt being cut, does this give the MLB job to Fincher, or are they just a trade/waiver wire pick-up from replacing him?
rajncajn
According to TP... here's the list of cuts so far... Bockwoldt Hilton Foreman Mason Lay Minnucci AMAC Josh Williams Billy Miller Javon Nanton Jimmy Verdon Beerman is on the PUP list. There are more cuts to make, and TP said they'll annonce them all at noonish... so stay tuned. http://www.nola.com/sports/t-p/index.ssf?/...7380.xml&coll=1 With Foreman and Bockwoldt being cut, does this give the MLB job to Fincher, or are they just a trade/waiver wire pick-up from replacing him? I'm thinking Simoneau unless we pick up someone else.

tonyr0802
Hilton was picked up by the NYJ fwiw ... So what's his value with NYJ? Worthy as a TE2?
Beaumont
So what's his value with NYJ? Worthy as a TE2? Is he starting over Chris Baker? If yes, then TE2 (maybe TE1) ... If not? Then relatively no value ... He is a great release valve/end zone option ... but if he cant start over Chris Baker, it will be time to pull the plug in a dynasty after this year ... Joexx
Being reported on the radio... So far it's Zach Hilton, Jamal Branch, Colby Bockwoldt, Jay Foreman, Josh Lay & Adrian McPherson. Any Saint homers have any idea what the fate of Adrian McPherson will be? Practice Squad maybe?
Big John
Practice Squad maybe? Since he has a year on the regular squad, he is no longer eligible for the practice squad.
