I mean, Thompson JUST re-signed him this offseason, AFTER the new coaching staff had seen all the tape on him. On top of that, they could have kept 5 WRs, like most teams. Instead, they keep 4 TEs? I love the fact that we kept Herron, and dumped off the questionable character guys like Davenport, Gardner, and Cory Rogers. Herron is a class guy, and is a hard worker. Not surprised by any of those. The main one that surprised me was Tollfson. I thought he'd make it. Reguardless, im happy with what we have. I didn't realize he was a "bad character guy"... He dropped everything that was kicked or thrown his way. When he did catch a punt return he looked lost trying to return it. Match that up with his inability to do anything right as far as route running, learning the playbook, and getting arrested a few months back after brandishing a gun then firing shots in the air...
