Duchess Jack
I'd take him over Bledsoe, Eli and Bulger. Bugger has the same O as last year PLUS Keyshawn and DeAngelo. Colbert was hurt last year, if Key goes down, he steps in. If Stevie goes down, Drew steps in. When DeShawn gets hurt, DeAngelo steps in. I don't understand why this guy is not a popular pick
Pope Flick
Me neither, in my draft tonight once Peyton, Brady and Palmer are gone I'll probably grab him fist chance I get.

I got him in 3 of four, as soon as Eli and Bulger went off the board. I do not think Eli and Bulger are better than him, but I know everyone else does. So, that was my signal. blips
In two of my leagues last year he was the 11th and 13th in QB points for the year. He is consistant and stays healthy and I would like to get him in the later rounds but I do rank those other guys ahead of him.
Bronco Billy
Because with as strong of a team as CAR is, and with the addition of a potential stud RB who can take a ton of work in the backfield, Delhomme might not be putting up very good 2nd half numbers in a lot of games this season. CAR is a very good, deep team with a strong D. That's better news for RBs than it is for QBs & WRs, though S Smith is going to get his numbers because he's so damn talented. Pope Flick
I like what Key brings to the team, especially as it makes Colbert a great #3, which I think makes him a better pick than Bulger who won't be passing as much in year's past. Also, Fox has a reputation as a runner, when in fact it's 50/50 more or less and if you look back to the 2nd half of their Super Bowl, Delhomme basically started throwing his arm off and hasn't looked back. He'll be better this year, then ever before.

Delhomme is a great QB and could post big numbers - he just doesn't have to do it often enough for major fantasy points. It's not about his talent, it's about his situation. Avernus
I have him ranked 5th/6th right with McNabb 1. Peyton 2. Palmer 3. Culpepper 4. Brady 5. McNabb 6. Delhomme

PantherDave
Seriously, I think it's ludicrous that some like T Green, Bledsoe the Statue, and even Kurt the Fragile are ranked above him-hell he's not even in the top 10. I'm going to enjoy this season as Jake has multiple weapons to deploy.
LooGie
I think Delhomme is going to be huge..he's always a great fantasy QB, but I didn't get him any drafts, because the value just wasn't there. Sure you can grab him in the 4th or 5th, but Warner and Bledsoe and McNair and about 5 other valid options were available in the 10th-15th rounds. I didn't even a grab a backup, because I'll just grab someone off the WW when I need one. Too many unknowns in the RB realm to risk taking a QB early. I like Palmer in the 3rd, I like Delhomme in the 4th...I love Warner in the 10 and McNair off the WW
loaf
Delhomme is the Roethlisberger of the NFC. Great QB who's numbers are smaller cause of the system.

Great QB who's numbers are smaller cause of the system. um...2 years in a row Delhomme has produced the top WR in the NFL. He's pro-bowl material pretty consistantly. I'm not going to grab his stats, but his numbers are actually quite high, and I would draft him about 10 rounds above Rothlisomething. Bronco Billy
No disrespect for Delhomme, whom I consider a very good QB, but we are talking about FF QBs, right? Why is all the excess man-juice flowing for a guy who in 2 of the past 3 years has been nothing better than a #2 FF QB, and the year he cracked the top 10 FF QBs (barely, at that) was the year he didn't have S Smith to throw to? Bronco Billy
he has a very good #2 WR now...Drew Carter looks to step in as the #3 and Colbert isn't dropping passes like he did last year... You mean like 3 years ago when Delhomme has S Smith, M Muhammad, & Proehl to throw to, and he produced his smallest passing yds & passing TDs numbers in the last 3 years (mostly because S Davis was running wild and CAR was 11-5, not having to throw much in the 2nd half of close games, of which they won the predominance)? The year Delhomme put up his big numbers (and still was a borderline starting FF QB) was the year CAR was 7-9. When CAR is winning, it isn't on the arm of their QB, it's on the legs of the RBs and/or the strength of their D. Unless you're predicting a mediocre to bad season for CAR, you shouldn't be expecting big FF numbers from Delhomme. loaf
they rushed 487 times last year and passed 449 times. That 487 is fairly high and as long as that number stays the same, expect the same from Delhomme.
