Quarterback Watch Week 1

A healthy McNabb is dangerous, and a happy McNabb possesses the potential for greatness. And McNabb is both this season. He put up monster numbers even before T.O. came to town, and he’ll be able to now that Owens is gone. Add a potential fantasy stud in Donte Stallworth, and McNabb is poised for another explosion. He’ll begin his return to dominance with an outstanding Week 1 performance against the Texans.

Now I think McNabb is a good quarterback, but he has only had one really outstanding year throwing the football and that was 2004 with TO. His earlier years with great production, like 2000 and 2002 (injury shortened), gained a lot from McNabb's running. He's still mobile, but I don't think that he'll generate a lot on the ground anymore.

McNabb has some good targets in LJ Smith, Reggie Brown, Stallworth, and Westbrook, but should we really expect a tremendous year?
