theeohiostate
I remember clearly last night Brown almost fumbled a reverse handoff to Chambers and Chambers rushed for 7-10 yards i think. NFL.COM is not showing such a play and MFL or CBS hasn't got Chambers for any rushing yards.? Am i on crack? I know i saw him rush the ball. Any input? Primetime9287
Because Ronnie Brown was charged with a fumble, Chambers was recorded with getting a Fumble Recovery and running with it. So he had like 10 FR yards, not rushing yards...
rcswildcat
I remember that play as well and what i can make from nfl.com scoring is that they chraged brown with a fumble and chambers with a 5yard fumble recovery. NAUgrad
That's crap. It was clearly a reverse. This is CBS we are talking about.
Bring Back Pat!!!
That's crap. It was clearly a reverse. This is CBS we are talking about. Doesn't matter if it was a reverse or not. Chambers picked the ball up off the ground, not from Brown's hands. Fumble recovery, period.
MikesMarauders
That's crap. It was clearly a reverse. This is CBS we are talking about. CBS has nothing to do with it scoring is off of the offical NFL stats
Gunther
Already been said, but Chambers did not get credit for rushing due to the fumble. If you look at the NFL Gamebook, it shows that Chambers was credit with a fumble recovery under "Final Defensive Statisics" for Miami and five yards for the fumble recovery in the Miami FUMBLES section of the "Final Individual Statistics". Randall
And if he had scored would it be a defensive score?
Bring Back Pat!!!
And if he had scored would it be a defensive score? Um, no. It would not have been.
The Wolf
And if he had scored would it be a defensive score? Nope. Possession never changed to Pitt and than back again to Mia, so it'd have been an offensive TD.
HowboutthemCowboys
And if he had scored would it be a defensive score? No.Look, it is what it is...the ball hit the ground, therefore it was fumbled.
