I'm hurting over that Mich loss last year because they just aren't as good as they we're last year. Cuse/Iowa game going on and it's a good one. I had my in-laws over, who are all Notre Dame fans. I truly thought that it was going to be fun for me. However, it turned ugly quick, and got uglier and uglier as the game went on. However, I'm actually better at handling losing, than I am at handling winning (as I'm sure some of you have noticed), so, I was o.k. Kid Cid Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 (edited) I didn't think it was a matter of ND kicking our asses as much as we were just not prepared for a game of this caliber. We're a young team in many aspects and it really showed. I am not enamored by any stretch with the 3-4 defense we've been sporting, we don't have the linemen to pull it off and ND just carved it up with that TE of theirs. That loss had as much to do with game planning by the ND staff as it did with the play on the field. I give the entire team their due props. They were running completely different looks mid way through the 2nd quarter and Penn St simply couldn't keep up. It was a thing of beauty.
