As a Penn State fan, I'm miserable today, I hate the Buckeyes, but, WOW, did they over look good tonight. They are going to be tough to beat. millerx
My guess....no one until the Championship....I mean they DO play in the Big 10 after all, so it shouldn't be to hard to run the table....it's a nice win for them tonight, but Texas isn't what it was last year. Teaxas will lose again this year, and IMO were not deserving #2 anyway.

I suppose that's not strong enough for ya? To answer the question, it'll come down to Michigan at the end of the season...........as usual with these two team, you throw out the record and play. With the way Hart has been running, Michigan could give the Bucks fits on defense.
BadgerBacker
Michigan will be the biggest test, but Iowa and Mich St. on the road hold some risk. Maybe PSU too. Based on what I saw tonight, I'd have to say that Ohio State is the strongest team in the conference, but everyone will be gunning for the #1 team. That could wear them down over the course of the Big 10 schedule. If they run the table, they'll deserve all the accolades that will come their way. Retrograde assault
#2 couldn't beat #1 because they had a frosh qb, but somebody else will.
Dingleberry
The night game on the road in Iowa City scares me. It seems earily similar to Penn St last year and Wisconsin the year before.
theeohiostate
#2 couldn't beat #1 because they had a frosh qb, but somebody else will. That AND The Bucks had the MUCH better talent on offense and their Oline outperformed the vaunted Texas D line AND their D played better. So you get partial credit for your answer

Chavez
As said before - Iowa in Iowa City or Michigan at the Shoe are their biggest hurdles.
GOB1
The bucks will not go undefeated, I would say Iowa or Michigan State, have the best chance, not to mention Michigan, but the are do. As far as the conference, the big ten is pretty tough this year, not many conferences can say the have 2-3 first round draft picks with Qb's alone. As far as the conference, the big ten is pretty tough this year, not many conferences can say the have 2-3 first round draft picks with Qb's alone. Only time will tell, Iowa and Michigan would most likely be the teams that could take down OSU. The Hawkeyes at night could have the same emotion as Happy Valley, I feel Iowa would have to jump on OSU early and ride the emotion to beat the Bucks. I do not know if Iowa has the running game to control the clock on the Buckeyes and keep OSU's offense on the sidelines. I tend to think Michigan has the better chance with Hart,Grady, and Henne. Michigan will be able to run on OSU at least the way the Bucks have performed against the rush so far and have a legit super star qb. Michigan's big problem is Carr and his freezing up against Tress. I still have no idea why Texas did not make OSU stop the run. Texas was controling the ground game and then would go back to sideline passes and WR screens. Texas did not go vertical enough either. NOW don't get me wrong I feel great where OSU is at right now as well the game plan for Texas was excuted perfectly. Mack Brown was clearly out coached and was a very gratifying win. Iowa has to get better running the ball and catching the ball to beat OSU I don't think it happens, but Iowa has a legit superstar QB so it could be done with other players stepping up. Michigan will have to come to THE SHOE and play OSU who SHOULD be playing for a shot at the National Championship. Carr will have to leave his skirt in Ann Arbor and play balls out from kickoff to gun and I don't know if Carr can do that. Carr gets a lead on the Bucks and he will go ultra conservative and tha'ts just not how to beat OSU not this year. This week is the Bear Cats and OSU is 30 point fav. HMMMMMMMM I wonder if Tress racks up 30 on his old buddie and ex OSU coach Danatonio(misspelled sorry bearcats) this could be a good DOG game. Tress likes the UC coaching staff to much to roll over 30. SPEED DIAL THE BOOKIE?????
GWPFFL BrianW
No running game? Musta been blind when Iowa is returning the Big Tens 2nd leading rusher (1st in actual Big Ten Competition) from 05 then. I guess Albert Young IS under the radar! I know Iowa's offense looked awful vs the Orange, but lets face it, Drew Tate was out, and Jason Manson just flat out isn't a division 1A caliber QB, much less a Big Ten QB. But I'm not concerned with Ohio State. I'm concerned with the pesky Cyclones, who have had our number. It's time to stop overlooking these a$$holes, and take them to the woodshed. theeohiostate
Bearcats always play a tough game. Actually they should have beaten us twice in the last 5 years, but we escaped with a win. Hats off to the Bearcats once again for bringing it to the house. Bucks offense struggled, the D settled in for the 2nd half and we finally pulled away. Not worried about our showing here, with Texas last week and Penn St. next week, this game was hard to focus on.

loaf
my fantasy is that both OSU and Michigan go undeafeated, Michigan moves up to 2, OSU stays at 1 going into their Nov. Matchup. Too lazy but has any team stayed 1 throughout and defeated two number 2s? Obviously taking alot for granted here but just wondering ... Venus
Oh, if my Lions can topple them, I don't care if we win another game all year. Well, I do care. I'm not holdong my breath, but hoping like crazy that it is at least a good showing unlike the Notre Dame game.

If the Buckeyes accomplish what you are suggesting, they would have a chance to beat yet a 3rd #2 in the BCS title game.
