PantherDave
The Panthers were outplayed, out hustled and just flat out-out coached. I have never seen such an uninpiring effort by the Panthers that I saw today. It's time to get their collective heads outta the mags and ears off all the pre-season shows. This was just plain pathetic effort by the Panthers, the offense was just way to vanilla, adjustments were poor if even non-exsistent. Fantastic game by the Falcones, and as of now are the class of the NFC South. The Cat's most likely will respond in upcoming weeks, but they should be ashamed of the effort they brought to the feild today. Once again, the Panthers lost to a better team today at this point in the season-period.
skins
Falcons ran it down the Panthers throats.
Venus
John Abraham was all over the place. He just got Delhomme again! And I have Jake.

CaptainHook
250+ yards rushing? Perhaps the Panthers D line is overrated again this year.
CD6405
250+ yards rushing? Perhaps the Panthers D line is overrated again this year. Their problems is they kept their 2 most injury prone players (Dan Morgan and Kris Jenkins) and let go of a good one in Will Witherspoon. Morgan even got hurt today. fruhoff
I thought the FALCONS-D would be overestimated with their acquisitions...unfortunately JOHN ABRAHAM may have a serious GROIN injury....could take a long time to heal... ABRAHAM is good, but he ALWAYS take a LONG TIME to heal... The PANTHERS will be okay once STEVE SMITH gets back...he's on my fantasy team and is killing me...with his 2nd groin injury... keep the faith PANTHER DAVE... LooGie
CAR never plays well in the beginning of the season, and even lost the opener last year to NO..they NEVER PLAY WELL at home..it's just how it goes. I knew ATL would win today, but wouldn't say it out loud...hats off to ATL fans...once again Vick owns the Panthers.

Well...not trying to make excuses for the Panthers, but to be fair Hook, they did face the NFL's #1 ranked rushing team for the last two years running. I get it. Two years "running" ... clever.
broncosn05
Delhomme was majorly pissed off today. I'm just a happy Falcon fan this week. Not much I saw that I didn't like.
kerwin8
I'm just a happy Falcon fan this week. Not much I saw that I didn't like. A couple of overthrows, but even Manning (both) had some bad throws. I agree though, today was everything I could've wanted it to be. Bill Swerski
250+ yards rushing? Perhaps the Panthers D line is overrated again this year. I was just thinking about that yesterday. The Panthers have been the "trendy" pick for the NFC Championship and ranked as a Top 3 fantasy defense since 2004. All we need now is Kris Jenkins suffering a season-ending injury to complete the third straight season of hoopla. Big Score 1
Just a note on the Falcons. Their bookend DE's left yesterdays game with injuries. First to go out was Kerney, with a triceps injury that's been bugging him all summer. Then at the end of the game, Abraham went out with a groin injury. Bad news if Atlanta loses BOTH their starting DE's for any length of time. Throw in Hartwell being unable to play (yet again ) and the injuries to the D are beginning to mirror last year.
