Sigalf03
One of the few bright spots on my dynasty team. I know Tiki still has a couple years in him, but Jacobs looks really good. I really see him being the future in New York
rellen13
Does he remind anyone else of John Riggins?
skins
Does he remind anyone else of John Riggins? Yes, a little. But he has to be able to handle 40 carries a game then drink a case of beer and pass out at dinner with a Supreme Court justice to reach Riggo status. cdrudge
He's just a giant. It was crazy how Colts were trying to stop him but he would just keep going.
gilthorp
I lost a game because of him tonight. I would have loved to see him get pulled after getting it down to the goaline. Non-fantasy speak: he is more than just a goaline back, and that is becoming very obvious.
jgcoach
He looked really good tonight. I have him in a dynasty league also and am hoping for big things from him in 2 years. Maybe sooner???
TheDude
definitely expecting it sooner. Looks like they want to give him about 20-30% of the carries and if Tiki does get injured, watch out. 7 tds last year, 5 in the preseason, he's huge and has great feet. I drafted him last year This year it will pay off in my keeper league and he'll be a top 12 drafted back next year. IMO
Robash
and he'll be a top 12 drafted back next year. IMO i think that might be one year premature
Bronco Billy
I still have to laugh at some relatively knowledgeable FFers who thought he'd be moved to DE after he was drafted because he was too big to play RB. He is beginning to look like a steal in a dynasty league.
Gonkis
He seems to go down a lot easier if you hit his legs compared to others. In other words, I think Tiki can shake off more leg tackles than he can, but try to tackle him up high and you're in trouble.
timberho27
He is definitly the real deal, he's got very fast feet, his 40 time is in the upper 4.4s I think, and he's very , very powerful. The giants O Line is one of the best run blocking O Lines in the league, and they definitly proved it last night.
Bill Swerski
Does he remind anyone else of John Riggins? Yep, and Bettis in his prime. "Thunder and lightning" have returned to New York.
nuke'em ttg
got'em in 2 leagues........ the dude is badass......hope he doesn't get kicked out of a game for all the extra helmets he's tearin off in the process.....

Vet
He's particularly valuable in leagues where you get extra points when your player fumbles.
Doc Holliday
He looks to me like 1 of those guys that is begging for a knee injury with his size, actions and style of running.

Bronco Billy
He's particularly valuable in leagues where you get extra points when your player fumbles. Do you consider 1 fumble in 46 regular season carries, of which the predominace were short yardage situations, a fumbling problem?
timberho27
His main problem with fumbling is when he goes for those extra 4 yards dragging a DB on his back and a LB comes in and strips the ball.
Vet
Do you consider 1 fumble in 46 regular season carries, of which the predominace were short yardage situations, a fumbling problem? No. But, based on all the Giants preseason games I've seen since Jacobs was drafted, and the reports I've heard from reporters and friends at training camps, and interviews I've heard with head coach Tom Coughlin, I understand that Jacobs is prone to putting the ball on the turf. Coughlin himself said over the summer that this is one of the areas Jacobs has to improve upon. Perhaps you'd care to share the information you have that contradicts Tom Coughlin's given all the practices, scrimmages, etc. that you've seen. Vet
One thing is for sure, the Giants ran ALL OVER the Colts last night...that was a sight to behold... True. I'm still scratching my head as to how the Giants didn't win that game.
BrooklynCrew
True. I'm still scratching my head as to how the Giants didn't win that game. They shot themselves in the foot over and over... between bad penalties killing drives, to the fumble on Eli's awful handoff to Tiki at midfield (led to easy 7 for Indy), to the HORRIBLE call on Tim Carter for offensive PI that ended the game... they looked really sloppy at times.
