Scare Tactics
Williamson has been awful. He's running good routes, fast, and getting open... If he gets his hands working, he could turn in a nice season.... It's week 1, nationally televised game, and he's young, he'll get it worked out
HowboutthemCowboys
Trying to figure out why the Vikes spent alot of money on T.Richardson, and have gone singleback like 50% of the plays.. good point

TDFFFreak
If I remember correctly, this should be one the better defenses in the NFL this season. I think the Vikings are doing okay (especially if Williamson catches those balls). Edited September 12, 2006 by TDFFFreak
Avernus
If I remember correctly, this should be one the better defenses in the NFl this season. I think the Vikings are doing okay (especially if Williamson catches those balls). I think they are doing exceptional against the Redskin defense...the only problem is the chemistry.. the Skins are strong at LB and have been looking for the TE and dumpoff plays.....good gameplan.. TDFFFreak
Call me crazy, but I am suddenly a bit more optimistic about the Eagles and the NFC East. A loss against the Giants next week will bring me back to earth though.

Avernus
him doing this against the Skins gives me tremendous confidence.....and I also have Moore...so if he gets hurt...I can use Moore for the 3 weeks he'd be healthy for... Plus, if Williamson is "awful," but still has nearly double the receiving yards of any other Viking (plus nearly 100 return yards), I'd like to see what he can do when he's doing "mediocre" or better. Scare Tactics
And it seems that Brad is targeting him often, and not just running deep, intermediate routes also... How bout them 31 carries for C.Taylor against a pretty stout Redskin D.. Nice Job
Menudo
You've got to be impressed with Taylor tonight in his Minny debut. Good things to come, wish I had jumped on him in a few of my leagues.
Avernus
he did much better than I expected.... I was willing to write him off for a few weeks because of tough matchups, I think I may start him next week...

Outshined
31 carries. wow. Bevell was saying early in training camp that he wanted a guy that could carry the ball 25+ times a game. I hope he is durable enough to last all season.

BadgerBacker
I have Taylor in three leagues and was pleased to see that he is the main back. Drafting Taylor was in part a product of targeting Gates early, which left me looking for upside backs in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Minnesota's line improved, they chose to bring in Taylor, and Taylor is a back that can contribute in the passing game and that all pointed in Taylor's favor. It will be interesting to see what happens against a lesser defense.
