BadgerBacker
Walters is in. Brooks with more sacks than completions, according to the announcers. How often does THAT happen?
rondo
the Raiders got dealt with... damn.
kraftykraft
Walters first possession, two incompletes, a sack and a delay of game penalty....
rondo
sorry Krafty. Â it's a long season. maybe both of our teams can get their acts together and bounce back...

rondo
poor Moss and Sapp seem to have landed in no man's land. Â Art Shell looks bored. What happened? Edited September 12, 2006 by rondo
bushwacked
It isn't all bad blocking. That, of course, is part of it, but this guy has no feel for the pressure. He doesn't seem to have that timer in his head that all great QB's do. Brooks looks like the same un-inspired, dumb QB that played in New Orleans. It is a shame, as the guy is a good athlete with a good arm. Â Â Â I'm not about to defend Brooks but that piece O' dung offensive line is horrendous. One of the worst performances I've seen in a looong time.

kraftykraft
On the plus side, that Lamont Jordan fumble pretty much sealed a win for me. I came into tonights game up by 2 fantasy points, with Aaron Brooks starting for me vs. Lamont Jordan and Seabass for my opponent. The end result; 4 points for Brooks, 0 points for Janikowski and -1 points for Jordan.
BadgerBacker
The Raiders D has done a better job in the second half, but the offense just doesn't look like a professional offense. Granted, the San Diego defense has generated great pressure all night, but I am trying hard to think when I've seen a worse offensive effort and I'm coming up empty. McBoog
Great! The Chargers have almost all twos in the game, IF they give up points, there goes my shutout in the homer league!

BadgerBacker
I missed the Tampa game, but the Pack is WAAAYYYY ahead of the Raiders offensively. The Raiders even make the Packers' marginal line look something other than awful.

Swampnuts
Art Shell just might go to Al Davis and say "Find somebody else". I guess we all know the reason why Whisenhunt and Petrino didn't want the job. Â That was the sorriest offensive performance I've seen in recent memory. Chargerz
That was the sorriest offensive performance I've seen in recent memory. Â The Bolts "D" is good, but the Raiders gave them help all night long. The Oakland offensive line is in a terrible state. Brooks may be running for his life all season long (and his season as a starter may end up being very short).
Perchoutofwater
129 yards of total offense, has there been less since the invention of the forward pass?

cdrudge
very conservative play calling with Rivers. I know it is his first game and on the road, but let the kid throw some.No kidding. I was hoping to get a clue how he would be in the coming games as a backup to Green while he's out with a headache, but this wasn't exactly a good indication of how he will do in his first real NFL game.
