Raiders Suck!

Brooks hasn't been playing too badly considering that I don't think his line has got out of 3 point stance yet in this game.

No interceptions, no fumbles--under the circumstances, I consider that a decent game. And he has run well.

Granted, he doens't have tons of time, but, he still looks awful. He has no ability to feel the pressure, and I've seen several times where Jordan was open in the flat, and Brooks just doesn't know how to check-down. Tons of talent, but, doesn't seem to have the brains or motivation to be a good NFL QB.

Thats the knock on Aaron Brooks when he joined the Raiders this year. He hasn't thrown a TD to a running back in something like 3-4 seasons. Lamont Jordan owners better not count on him getting another 500 yard receiving year.

This is what happens when you have a sub par O'line to begin with & then choose as your offensive coordinator a guy who has been running a bed & breakfast for the last 10 years.

Wrag on brooks all you want, but when your O'line is holding up like a sieve, you don't keep calling in plays that are seven step drops while your WR is running a route that takes 3 seconds at least.

It's called in game adjustments and I didn't see any from the bed & breakfast guy. :D

And they get to travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens this week. :D

Their O-line is horrible. How did Walker end up as their RT? Wasn't he dumped by the Bucs as a bust, then used by the Raiders as a kick blocking specialist? Also, their vertical passing game that Al Davis forces them to use won't develop with the QB having to throw the ball in 2 seconds or less before he gets flattened.

Looks like Norvel is smiling now that he's across the Bay and his offense looked good yesterday.

I'm all for the cheap hooker look!

I said it last week, and I'll say it again. There is a reason Art Shell was out of the league for 14 years. He is notoriously bad at managing the clock. His strong suit should be the O-line, yet Castillo and Merriman seemed to rush at will. It's going to be a long year for the Raiders.
