Arizona IDP question

When Dansby comes back...if Green thinks he is worthy he probably goes back to strongside...or does he go to middle as rumored in Pre-season knocking Hayes to strongside or to the depth chart. Thinking of dropping Ulbrich on my bench to have Hayes on the bench....but don't know much about him. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts.

Also, the top three free agents in my league are Hayes, Seward, and Thornton. I like Seward alot...but will he play as much as Hayes?? So, which of the three would you grab on the waiver wire??

i think if you are purely gonna look at who does what from week to week and plan on trying to use the waiver wire like that then you might as well go looking for a leprechaun(sp?) and his pot of gold.

Do you even know who seward is and or why he was playing?

Wow...such an itelligent response from someone from one tooth technology land. yes I know who Seward is. He is listed behind Morgan on the depth chart. My question is, for DEPTH on my team, I am going to dump Ulbrich. The three top pick-ups are Gerald Hayes, Who may not be a starter when Dansby comes back...or Seward or Thornton....who played reasonably decent for Indy last year. Better yet, why don't you not try to answer or offer advice on the question posed and drag your minimum wage making rearend back to WalMark...OK.

Have a nice night.

Dude, don't start that I am better than you act. I asked a simple question. You chose to redicule versus offer an opinion. My motto...don't start none won't be none. I will take any advice given and say thanks for it. But when arseholes like you redicule people just because it is a message forum and you don't have to meet the person...then yes, I take exception. Not that it matters, but I ended up with Thornton. It was only a bench move for heaven's sake.

keg's right about searching for gold week to week, it might not happen that easily... i like seward a bunch more than hayes..... :D

I beat the guy who had Morgan this week and was hoping he would overlook the Seward Pick-up. I had Ulbrich last year and he started off reasonably well for our format before ripping his Pectoral...I think. So I added him in the 21st round this year to round out my LB corps. Then I read SF might go 4-3 the rest of the season and puts Ulbrich on strongside. I figured I needed to replace my depth there. Seward seemed reasonable...but who knows. Hayes was my real question...I don't know much about the Arizona IDP players and was wondering if Hayes keeps his job when Dansby comes back. So, I went with Thornton...he was serviceable last year in my league...we reward tackles over anything else...and will play lots with that offense. He will make a good bench play I guess.

Hey, thanks for the thoughts. I really appreciate the feedback.

#1: If you felt "ridiculed" by what keggerz wrote in response to your stupid question, then YOU have a problem -- not him.

#2: If you think keggerz is an "arsehole," then you've obviously never met a real one. Hmm...that would explain your wafer-thin skin. :D

When you're finished icing down your sore vajina, go find another message board. :D

Oh, so I guess it is you and keggerz are the only ones who get to dish...and if you get response in kind...well that is just unacceptable. I asked a legit question about Gerald Hayes being available on my waiver wire for LB depth. I cannot forcast injuries. I have to start 2-4 LB each week....with a total of 6 defensive starters in a league that is tackle orientated. So I am sorry if I don't understand how someone can just walk in, avoid the question all together and then slam someone for no reason....and if you condone that....then you are an Arsehole too. Man, what a screwed up website. Why do they even let you post here.

You're right -- I'm an "Arsehole," too. You should really go elswhere for your IDP info. You'll find nicer people in a friendly environment.

IMO Shiznit's question was a reasonable one and Keg seemed to flame him for no reason. Shizit's reply to that only made it worse.

Can we put the pissing match aside for a second...I'm also interested in Haye's future with Dansby returning. If anyone knows the answer or has an educated opinion, I for one would love to see it.

Thanks, enjoy week 2 all...

i should have asked under what criteria did you decide that Hayes, Seward and Thornton were your top 3 Free Agents

should i have said, you know seward was playing because morgan got hurt and when diggs comes back draft might be the one to play MLB over Seward

:D

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby (toe) practiced Friday, Sept. 15, and is expected to play Week 2. If he plays, he will likely serve as a backup.

Cardinals | Dansby practices Thursday

Thu, 14 Sep 2006 13:22:08 -0700

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby (toe) practiced Thursday, Sept. 14 and will play Week 2. He is listed as probable on the team's injury report.

As for the flame:

He said, "I LIKE SEWARD ALOT BUT WILL HE PLAY AS MUCH AS HAYES" that was just a stupid statement(cant think how to put that mildly). I mean there are plenty of people that are high on Seward but it isnt because of his stat line from last sunday and considering he listed the TOP 3 FAs on his WW then he was high on Seward because of sundays stats(or so it seemed from how he had written his post). I guess in the thin skinned world of FF I should have said,

"You have to be very careful if you are going to use week 1 as a baseline for deciding on who to pick up. Thronton had a very good game but he is a SLB and his upside is probably in the neighborhood of 70 solos, Hayes is a solid start as long as he can keep the MLB job but there is inherent risk because dansby could come back from his injury and take over at MLB, as for Seward he got his chance because Morgan suffered another concussion, so if/when Morgan makes it back Seward would be on the bench, but Seward also isnt guaranteed the MLB spot if Morgan stays out because if/when Nail Diggs comes back Chris Draft could very well be the one taking over the Middle, so again there is also inherent risk with Seward. As for Ulbrich, rotoworld ran with a bogus assumption that SF was changing to a 4/3, they simply are not, they have had to get through many injuries at LB that has forced them to play some 4/3, but in an interview of the defensive coord after camp broke(i posted that interview) he stated that switching in and out of the 3/4 to a 4/3 wasnt a big deal and that it could be just a LB shifting up and putting his hand down to rush(thats not verbatim but the jist of it, and that is why they drafted Lawson to be a Rush OLB)...Considering the year that Ulbrich was on pace to have last yr I would be hard pressed to drop him in favor of either of those 3 LBs that were listed but if i were going to take a chance on any of the 3 it would be Hayes. I hope that helped and if you need any further help this yr just ask cause it would be a pleasure to help a fellow IDPer"
