Menudo
The Arizona Cardinals are going to come out of Seattle with a victory on Sunday. Do I think the Cardinals are betther than Seattle ? No Do I think the Cardinals will win the divsiion ? No, Seattle will Do I think the Cardinals will make the playoffs ? Probably not, though I wouldn't be shocked HOWEVER, I've just go this strong feeling that the Cardinals beat the Seahawks this week. It's not entirely based on Seattles sluggish offensive performance last week, but, that doesn play a part. I think Arizona has an offense that is going to score on anyone this year. I've just got a feelin that their 'D' will do just enough Sunday to pull the upset.
Goopster24
I could see a shootout with Arizona edging them. I'm looking forward to this game and would not be surprised if the Cardinals squeek out with the W.

The Niners moved the ball at will against them. Shouldn't you be worried about Jax on Monday night.

Doc Holliday
I think the Cardinals get smoked myself. They could not even run good against S.F. last week. I hate to see what Seattle does to that run game.

Yes, I did, but, I am a big Penn State fan, so I may have let my heart get in the way. I am not an Arizona Cardinals fan. Also, I'm not always right. Like I said, I just have a feeling, and I'm making it known. You seem to be getting upset about it, I'm not sure why. Vote Quimby2
I don't know, the fact that the lions held them to Fgs? It's one game and they came out with the win. Last year they started off looking bad and losing to Jax. They still went on to have a pretty good year. Arz doesn't scare me and Seattle's Def is better than the Niners. Down Goes Frazia
after last weeks respective performances by both teams..... it's easy to jump on the redbirds bandwagon for sure. there's also some concern in the air around here that the hawks need to play ALOT better than they did last week to win. keep a few things in mind........ 1.) - the hawks were absolutely untouchable here last year. 2.) - their homefield advantage has evolved very quickly into maybe the best in the league. Qwest field is deafening. there was 60,000 strong at both preseason games. 3.) - they retire Cortez Kennedy's number prior to the game. 4.) - Holmgren has absolutely tortured them is practice all week. 5.) - it looks like rain for sunday... jury's still out though. 6.) - Frank Gore ran freak'in nuts all over the cards pathetic defense .... enter shaun coming off a miserable 51 yard performance. 7.) - the front 7 & pass rush for the hawks is hell & gone from anything the cards saw last week from the 9'ers. 8.) - Deion Branch 9.) - it's the home opener & I'll be there. hawks 31 cards

What I see happening is Seattle's sluggishness showing up one more week, and them not pulling out the win this time. This then becomes their wake-up call, as they go on to win the division. Just a hunch.

Menudo
Not upset. Just pointing out that your strong feelings don't always pan out. True.... To be honest, I saw that the thread was Seattle by 7.5, and I thought, wow, I really like Arizona with the points, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they won this game outright. Then, I thought that a post claiming that would be a hot topic at the Huddle..... Edited September 13, 2006 by Menudo
chiefjay
I think Seattle bounces back and has a real nice offensive output. Teams like that aren't shut down two weeks in a row. They'll get at least 27 and with Seattles defense playing well I can see AZ only getting 13 or so.
rattsass
I'm on the Cards plus the points. If the Cardinals have truly arrived as a contender, this is a game in which they need to show it. They go up there and get their ass handed to them (like usual) and it will be a big blow to the psyche of the team. This is also a big game for the Seahawks, because if they let these up and comers come in and slap them around, after struggling against the Lions last week, the 'Hawks will be the ones starting to doubt themselves a little bit. This game is bigger than it appears in my opinion. I'm counting on lots of offensive fireworks in this game, but I don't think either team will be able to run away from the other. Should be a good one.

Hawks will kick AZ teeth in- this D is for real, and the Hawks DO NOT lose at Qwest- especially after Det game, Sea O will bounce back, and the D will pressure Brenda all day long. skylive5
I didn't even hesitate to take AZ in the Blitz, and was thinking to myself that not only does AZ cover, they could very well win outright. Was not impressed with the way Seattle came out for the game last week..(looked flat even before they took the field).. and I don't think Homegrins running them into the ground in practice this week is going to help. They have some problems and there are some that are still dinged up and not playing at full strength. If nothing else... take AZ and the points. I dunno- one thing about the NFL- teams are never as bad or good as they looked the week before. I would be more apt to like AZ if Sea played well at Det, since they didn't look for em to come out on fire. I think they bounce back nicely and I just can't see anyway AZ wins this game, much less covers.
