tompas
which type of fantasy football is the most popular? The salary cap or the Draft one? I believe this is the draft one, but we have a little argue over here and i believe that the forum can help me.
Bronco Billy
"which type of fantasy football is the most popular?" Nekkid co-ed fantasy football. What kind do you play?
The Irish Doggy
I play both, but most people I know only play the draft/auction style.
DMD
Drafting is much more common than auctions. Auctions are preferred by most of those who have done both but both have their strong points and I would always want to to both.
kwolf68
-I despise salary cap leagues. -Keeper leagues I love the idea of them, but have never played one because we always seem to have a new owner or two each year and keepers are inherently unfair to new owners. In addition keepers take away the FUN of the draft, and FUN is the name of the game. However, KEEPERS create an entirely new dyanimc of OWNING a team and keeps people in the tank involved. It also rewards owners who "discover" that new found talent. -Drafting leagues are all I've ever played and I really like them. The draft is so MUCH fun and this type of league lends to that. We have toyed with a Keeper league in my league, but it usually gets nixed, however, the one guy who was most vehemently opposed to them lost his job and had to retire from the league this year. So it may be rekindled at some point. However, my guys are not big risk takers...it took us about 5 years to go from a Rotissiere System (I am a baseball guy so I started it that way) to a Head To head, which I positively love (and have a H2H system for my baseball league as well).... Bushey
Auction is for real players. Serpentine drafts take less skill, but are still fun. Especially when the draft table is situated in the same order as you pick.
milanot
Hey i am new here and just saw this message, Well i think i love them both also, even that if i need to choose one i will definetly choose the Salary cap, i think it simulates more the real world, the need to stay under a cap, and because it is more individual game than the Full Fantasy game.
