Menudo
Wow, what a frustrating night. The Jaguars dominated this game throughout. I'm obviously a bit concerned with the Steelers offense. The Jaguars defense is impressive, no question about it. They are going to have to shake this off quickly, with the Bengals coming in next. I said before the season, if they can come out of the first 3 game at 2-1, I'll be happy, but, they are relaly going to have their work cut out for them to do that. With all of the great things I've enjoyed over the last year of Steeler football, I can live with an ugly night like tonight, I just hope they don't make a habit of it. Make no mistake, this Jaguars team is for real. They completely dominated this game. If you can play defense like they do, you'll be in every single game you play. Congrats on a nice win. P.S. H8tank, I'll send you a PM so that I can figure out how to get you your beer.
Swiss Cheezhead
Yeah, above all, this was just a surprisingly good team playing excellent defense in front of their home crowd. The good news for the Steelers is that Ben and the rest of the offense figures to shake the rust off quickly and start rolling again. The Jaguars' good news is the same, but for a different reason -- Leftwich looked okay, but he and his young WRs will continue to develop chemistry and develop a balanced attack. If Fred Taylor stays healthy (), I don't think anyone's going to want to play Jacksonville late in the season.
LooGie
wow. Kowher just threw the reicevers under the bus? "I thought he threw the ball really well. If we catch a few of those passes we're getting some rhythm"

Congrats Jax fans, you guys have something to be very excited about going on down there.

McBoog
I just want to know. Are the Steelers one of the worst teams in the NFL? They had 10 days to get ready for this game and they got shut out tonight. At least the Raiders and the Titans scored in their games and the Raiders were on a short week! I don't think we should read too much into this Jag win until they play a real team! ~~~~~~~

TheGrunt
So after the Bengals win the next game the Steelers will be 2-2! Menudo, you are a great sportsman.
Capt Skinman
Good game by the Jags. I wonder why the Steelers went away from the short slants that were working at the start of the game. Those TEs were looking good on the opening drive then they just stopped.
cmoore
It was a good game and one of the more dominent displays the Jags D has showed. The guys on ESPN after the game were talking about how the Jags were more physical than the Steelers and you don't hear that being said very often, but I think it was true last night. Fred looked much better than last year and Stroud/Henderson showed why they are the best DT combo in the league. D Darius can play too and he is a handful. If we could score 24 a game we might have something here. Still have concerns about the O for sure, especially after seeing how long Leftwich strides out to throw the ball. Man he is asking for trouble with that. I know it was 9-0 and the lowest scoring game on MNF history, but I enjoyed the intensity that the game was played with and thought it was actually a well played game, just tough going for the Os. Azazello1313
IMO the The only 6 time Super Bowl Winners and YOUR DADDY' main problem was that they ran willie parker right up the middle smack into henderson-stroud territory EVERY first down until late in the first quarter, and about half of the second downs. what the f*ck were they thinking? jax is vulnerable against the pass (at least more vulnerable than they are against the run), and the The only 6 time Super Bowl Winners and YOUR DADDY just kept going right at their strength.
