Bears Running Game

Neither T. Jones or Benson's stats have looked good...

Any insight from homers on what's up with the running game?

Will Jones continue to get about 2/3 of the carries?

I am certainly not a Bears homer, but as a Vikes fan, I pay attention to what they are doing moreso than some of the other teams in the NFL. Despite Grossman's aerial exploits so far, I think we will see the Bears scoring return to more of a balance. It would be surprising if they didnt start to pound the ball and score rushing TDs. I am sure they are very encouraged by Grossman's success, but I think the recipe in Chitown is still to run the ball and play good D(especially as the weather worsens). What is nice for them(and scary for everyone else) is it appears they can be a much more balanced offense this year.

As someone who owns Thomas Jones in two leagues, I am hoping he continues to get the lion's share of the carries and starts scoring(except this week). Benson is going to continue to get chances(maybe more than he deserves at this point) because he was a high pick and is being paid as such. Unless one of the two is injured or really starts to distance themself from the other, I guess I dont see the ratio of carries changing anytime real soon. My $0.02.
