If anyone would like to join, me, feel free to use this avatar. I wouldn't necessarily vote to use people's tax dollars to rebuild it. But I'm sure Katrina was just an anomoly. There won't be anymore hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico. The trouble with that is many pipelines come through there and some kind of city needs to be there. Tax dollors are used to boost some of the most profitable companies too. Many would rather re-build this city than line Exxon's pockets, but why not put it to a vote. How about a national referendum? New Orleans was the source for some of the best music this country has produced. But let the people decide. You vote no, I vote yes, we should count everyone's vote on this one.
