kryptonite
This may be a dumb post, but I am wondering if the Steve Smith owners of the world are going to start him this week or keep him on the bench?

I hope Zooty keeps him on the bench.
cliaz
Since I'd be playing against him if he does start, he'll get 198 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Ralph Furley
I'm not sure what to do yet either. Like others have said on these boards, if he's playing he's got to be close to 100%. They wouldn't risk him getting hurt. GTD for me as well.
Rovers
First off, I hope they sit him another week. hammys can be a really bad lingering injury if it keeps getting tweaked. Secondly, even if he does play, I think it will be mainly as a decoy. I'm starting Driver, Bryant and R Williams over him in my local.... I'm just glad Portis is back.... lost my 1st and 2nd round picks in weeks 1&2, and I'm lucky to be 1-1 so far. I know... who cares?

Jolly Rodgers
WIth JJ and Smith out my WR corps are next to non-existent. I am starting him because if I dont, I know I will get burned. Also, he cant do any worse than my other options.
SLAYER
I'm 2-0 and I'm starting him. I didn'tr take him in the 2nd round to sit on the bench. Everytime he starts in carolina he'll start for me.
Randall
DB Bolden Expected To Draw WR Smith Katherine Smith, The Tampa Tribune - Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting cornerback Brian Kelly is expected to miss this week's game against the Carolina Panthers with a toe injury. That leaves nickel corner Juran Bolden with the unenviable task of matching up with Pro Bowl wide receiver Steve Smith, who will be making his season debut for the Panthers after missing the first two games with a lingering hamstring injury. The Holy Roller
Why not? I used him the first two weeks.

Is this real, or is this Gruden trying to lure a sub-100% Smith into the game?

jaxfactor
I own him in one league and had the fortune of drafting Donte Stallworth as what I thought would be a bye week fill in. Donte is in my lineup to stay. I'll have to start benching Mason when Smith is healthy. For now, I'm leaving him on the bench.
hollywood_69
yea, its tough for me colston has been playing pretty well, but ihad to deal with l. evans measly 4 points the first week i think i can throw in smith. so smith and toomer it is! rai
what's it look like? I say he's going to play (a-la portis in week one) but they don't want to say. I have to decide b/t him and troy williamson. I think I'm going to roll the dice and start SS unless I hear for sure he's not going to play.
