Hugh 0ne
Tom Brady will not sniff being a top 10 fantasy QB this year, much less a top 3. I vote TRUE. I think we may have found this years William Green. Edited September 25, 2006 by Hugh 0ne
Chavez
I don't know about W Green, but he certainly is not APPROACHING his draft position after 3 weeks.
gilthorp
I'll say false. The year is young.
Grits and Shins
One thing looks apparent ... he misses Deion Branch

Big Country
I'll say he finished right were I thought he would.. in the 8-12 range. He reminds me a lot more of Aikman. a great NFL QB, average fantasy QB.
Chavez
a great NFL QB, average fantasy QB. He's been a VERY good fantasy QB for the past 3-4 years. Edited September 25, 2006 by Chavez

But, I think he'll have some pretty big games in there as well to vault his stats a bit. I do not own him in any of my leagues, so it's not a subjective view....just my swag. My thought as well ... the last 4 years or so as I recall Brady has been the most consistently GOOD fantasy football QB
piratesownninjas
He looks lost without Branch or Givens...
Big Country
He's been a VERY good fantasy QB for the past 3-4 years. but not great... IMO, he will always be a fantasy starter, and because of his consistency, will always be rated quite highly, but I just don't think he has the necessary weapons to be a major fantasy impact. Put a better way, he will not lose your fantasy team games, but I don't thik he will single handedly win them the way a Peyton could or Palmer has the potential to. aterry1979
I dont see NE even makin the playoffs this year with that o'line and lack of receiving corps. Their running game can only take them so far but not far enough

That seems to be a fair assessment - but Aikman was HEINOUS as a fantasy starter - he never got the tds OR the yds. Brady has been solidly productive on both fronts, and rarely disappears for even one week, much less weeks at a time. But to say he's a notch below Manning or Palmer (or a healthy McNabb, for that matter) is hardly an insult. Still puts him above almost 30 other guys. Well, with the situation he's in this year, and the way he's looked so far, do you think he'll finish better than Hass, Delhomme, Eli, Pennington , Warner, Brees, Favre, Palmer, Bledsoe? number9
Even money that Brady finishes w/ at least 250 yards & a TD
Grits and Shins
In my local: 2005 - Brady ranked 2nd behind Palmer, in front of Manning at 3rd 2004 - Brady ranked 11th, CPep 1st, Manning 2nd and Palmer 21st 2003 - Brady ranked 3rd behind CPep (2) and Manning (1) 2002 - Brady ranked 9th, CPep 2nd Manning 6th

Their running game can only take them so far but not far enough In most other divisions I might agree. In theirs though, the competition ain't all that strong. theeohiostate
True. I can fully understand why he was pissed losing Branch. They have NO ONE to throw to.
