We have a $100 cap limit to spend for the season for 1 move a week before 9:00 on Wed. night after that it's first come first serve. So how much would you bid to get Robinson if you were me. giantsfan Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 This will be interesting to see what happens. Personally I don't see them using a GL back. Gore was lauded for his tough running and TD in game 1 and while he has fumbled two straight games it would surprise me. Plus Robinson is a good athlete and all but I just don't know about him as a RB full time. None of us know what will happen, and Gore if healthy will still get his even if he loses GL carries since he catches so many passes as well, but it will be interesting to see what happens. To me as a Gore owner health is my biggest concern not GL carries. Again even if he doesn't get GL carries he will still get his yards and some TD's on longer plays. He just needs to be healthy. kingfish247 Posted September 25, 2006 Share Posted September 25, 2006 this couldn't come at a worse time for me with the Bell boys going on bye. i wouldn't say that Gore has struggled in short yardage/GL situations so much as the concern is the fumbling. Gore gets tough yards. The play where he fumbled and was injured was absolutely blown up by the Eagles GL D. Nolan's attitude of not changing Gore does him and his team a disservice. I don't see Robinson as some long term GL or short yardage vulture for the long term. Now, Gore absolutely must improve that facet of his running technique and I think he's talented enough to do so.
