Sure-fire method to choose most productive Starter

I'm sure many of you can agree with me on this one, but there's a foolproof way to choose your starters in the face of uncertainty. Now I'm not talking about your studs, you always start them, but let's say you have a bye week and you need to plug someone into your starting lineup; or you have to choose one starter between 3 different WR's from your bench; or you have to pick up someone from the WW; or if there's one starter you are uncertain of and could replace that starter with someone else... etc. You know what I mean...

The best way to choose the most productive starter is this: Write down on a piece of paper three (or two, or four, any number will do) players you need to choose from and circle the one you want to start. These could be players you already own, or it could be available players from the waiver wire. Circle the one player that you are going to start and then place him in your starting line-up. Walk away from your computer and don't go back until after kickoff when you can't change the lineups.

Now pay attention - here's the important part...

After you place that player in your starting lineup and walk away from your computer, before kickoff, have anyone - your wife, best friend, any relative, a neighbor, a complete stranger from the street - then go back to your computer, take the person you chose out of the lineup and replace him with any one of the other players that you originally declined to start. It doesn't matter who they pick and start for you, because invariably whomever replaces your pick in the lineup will score more points than the player you originally chose.

Now I haven't tried this yet, but I'm 100% certain that this will work, and I will start doing this for Week 4. This method isn't patented, so feel free to use this method with your own team. I foresee weekly high scores and Championships for all who use this method.

Good luck!
