TO playing against Tennessee?

I have read some conflicting information. Some saying he will play against the Eagles in two weeks and other sources saying Parcells expects him on the practice field this week catching some passes....and playing as soon as this weekend....

I'd love to have him but isn't it to risky for further injury on a finger with pins and a plate in it just a week ago???

What does everyone think? What have you read or seen out there for news???

Parcells believes Owens will maintain his conditioning level, and the surgically-inserted metal plate in his hand is designed to stabilize the fractured bone and accelerate the healing process. The only remaining hurdle is tolerating enough pain to catch those zip passes from quarterback Drew Bledsoe.

"If he can withstand it (the pain), he can play," Parcells said. "You don't have to worry about the displacement or anything like that. It's anchored down there pretty good."

I understand that the finger will not get worse with a plate and pins in there.....I am still saying that if he plays against Tenn and it starts to hurt him more.....it may cause him to miss the Philly game

The Cowboys should easily beat up on Tenn so it is just not worth it......
