Simoneau has been pathetic as far as tackling and hasn't recorded a sack or int. What are the Saints waiting for. Does anyone have any current info on this situation. Sean Payton couldn't give a rats ass about stats as long as the player is doing what is asked of him. Just because he isn't putting up big numbers doesn't mean he's not doing a good job. That guy is Sirmon with Tennessee...and I haven't seen him play but once. All I am saying is wouldn't Clark be an upgrade over Simoneau? From my understanding Clark is supposed to be better vs the run & Simoneau in pass defense. Some have drafted Clark on this board in early Fantasy drafts...others see him on the waiver wire and could pick him up for depth or trade bait. Who is better in your opinion? I got Clark off waivers and too have been waiting for him to start, but the Saints are doing well right now. Why mess with success? I think he will start because the LB'ers there aren't great(the safeties are better imo), but who knows when that will be. I monitor Saints boards but haven't heard anything latey. Clark probably is better, but since he came in late & Simoneau hasn't done anything to lose the starting slot then, as Randall put it, they won't mess with success. Clark would be a nice pickup though for a possible late season push. If you have the roster space for him, pick him up & stash him away.
