Sugar Magnolia
What's his deal? Is he going to produce this year? Any homer insight?
chiefjay
Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Like any other Plax year.
soopanuts
He'll get his, but he'll be frustrating at times. If you can afford to, keep him in there every week and ride the waves.
Sugar Magnolia
I do recall this from last year., where I had Plax. He got 4 TDs in one game, and the next game I think he got none. The thing is last year Toomer contributed little, and now there seems to be some chemistry between Manning and Toomer.
soopanuts
Good point about Toomer. Burress will be involved. If he could hold on the damn ball his numbers would be slightly better. If I had him on my team, I'd stick with him. The way the D is playing, Eli will be airing it out a lot.
PaulOttCarruth
He's scored a TD in 2 out of 3 games. I'd say he's already producing.
Hat Trick
He'll get his, but he'll be frustrating at times. If you can afford to, keep him in there every week and ride the waves. Yup this is what I did last year, and he fell to me again, so I am going with the smae theory again. Sometimes he'll go 10 for 200 and 2TD's, sometimes he'll go 4 for 60. He's worth the risk IMO, so long as he doesn't get in Coughlin's dog house.
Atlas
If I'm not mistaken, he was Manning's prime target early last season, until the D's caught on and took him away. That's when Toomer became the man for the second half. It may be that they're trying to keep the D's honest and show Toomer. I know they like Buress' height and verticle leap, esp. in the red zone/end zone corners. Hell, he's 6-6. He dwarfs most corners. He is a moody SOB, though. MrTed46
As a NY homer I hate Plax. I hated him whe he was in Pit and I hate him now.
